We came in for lunch, and Sat at the bat, along with approximately 6 other people. The bartender walked past us 3 or 4 times before even acknowledging us. We started on Margaritas, and the bartender walked away before we had a chance to say how we wanted them. The lunch menu is only 1 insert, so front and back, which made deciding our lunch pretty quick, however, relaying our lunch picks to the bartender, not so quick. The menus were folded, and at the edge of the bar, the universal sign that we're ready to order, but our bartender never got the memo about it, because it took approximately 8-10 mins, in a fairly empty restaurant, to give him our orders.The enchiladas were okay, but just okay. They certainly lacked the authentic Mexican taste they advertise. The chicken chimichanga's were large enough for a couple of meals and tasty.l to boot.Word of caution: I asked for a side of tomato and lettuce to eat with my meal, which he wrote down with my order. What he didn't do though was, tell me he was going to put it in as a side Pico Salad for 2.99. When I inquired about the side salad, since we didn't order it, he initially said my friend, who happened to be away from the table, ordered it. After I said she hadn't ordered it, is when the "$2.99 lettuce and tomato is considered a side salad here" bomb on me.My overall rating: mediocre food with greedy mediocre servers.

Great food and service was good even when it was super busy! Authentic dishes here that you don’t have to wonder about for quality and taste. Staff were very accommodating and helpful, all while being extremely polite. Highly recommended for a date night or gathering with friends and family!!Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful with my wife’s gluten free restrictions. Two thumbs up!

Never go here! The food is good but they are very prejudice. I am just now getting around to a review because this experience still traumatizes me. I used to go to this place multiple times alone, with friends, and even with my community organization. One time I visited this place with my friend a few years ago and my order was wrong. When I let waitress know very calmly, she got defensive and started flicking her fingers in my face as she "told me off". I was annoyed by this but I kept my composure. She's standing up over me doing that and I am sitting in the booth telling her that I would like her to move her fingers and that the response wasn't necessary. From there, the manager comes over to see what's wrong (and the girl walks away). Everything was fine after speaking with him. While the manager is still at our table, cops walk in and come stand next to me and my friend's booth. This situation was not a two-way escalated case. If anyone, I should have called the police. As a current EEO professional, this is a violation of all civil rights laws I can think of. The manager told us that the the police were not approved to be called and he did not defend us in any way when law enforcement was wrongfully called. Too many people are dying at the hands of police brutality. Though this happened two or three years ago, the fact that we could have lost our lives over this still sits with me. That woman was the aggressor and she was not reprimanded in any way for crying "wolf" or danger. SHE was the danger. If you identify as a Black person and/or ally of diverse people, this is not a business you want to support. Mezcal, you have a LOT of external partnership and DEIA work to do.

Not here to bash just recomend..Food and services I feel needs alot of work... food was over priced very salty and the staff just stood around not really making the customer a priority or checking us like we was doing them a favor coming to the restaurant... back in the day this place was great but after my recent experience I dont see myself returning..sad to say...

Burned and cold refried beans, the cheese in the enchilada seemed to have gone bad. The food used to be good, but tonight it was inedible. The steak fajitas had very little steak.
