I hate my sweet dear husband left home in the rain to get this. I ordered chicken wings but when I open my container it smelled like fish. The yam, okra, rice n gravy all terrible! Do yourself a favor skip this place all together!

I visited this restaurant as a second chance. Like the first time the food was nothing but a high blood pressure festival. The collard greens are obviously from a can, no soul food flavor. There is a southern saying "He/she put their foot in this food". There are no signs of toe jam, Only salt and blah blah blah. NEVER again!! Save your money and cook your own food!!!!!!!!!!!

The food used to be good, but recently, we purchased several dinners, and EVERYTHING was disgusting. They sold us old, sour banana pudding. The turkey wings were very dry and tasteless. The whiting fish wasn't whiting. Never again Henry's! Not ever.

0/10 do not recommend. I had the yams, greens, and salmon cakes which came with cornbread. The service was not the problem but the food was horrible. My greens were slimy which tells me they were either old or not cooked well. The yams tasted like they came from a can. The corn bread was over cooked and dry. The salmon cakes were the only okay entree.

I'm gonna start off by saying this, if you can't cook, you shouldn't complain... Where do I start, right now I have a headache, because the food was salty, I don't know if the chicken grease was old or they burnt the gravy, but all I could taste was something burnt. The cabbage was under cooked and bland, the mash potatoes were bland, just a pinch of this and that and you have something that taste like something. The turkey wings were salty and under cooked, the skin was rubbery and or soggy, not good, maybe somebody was having a bad day, all day, but I paid $25 for my food and when your I. The food industry, presentation, quality and taste of your food is VERY IMPORTANT... Would I go back, nope no time soon or later, right now I'm downing water to get this salt and burnt taste out my mouth and on that note, I'm done, food is in the trash, GOOD NIGHT.....

Have a serious issue when the cashier doesn't wash her hands and she goes into the kitchen to start preparing food. And then on top of it I seen pies that were out and I said could I get a pie off the sheet pan The young lady would not even sell me a pie. Been coming to this location for 20 years I watch the change and hospitality and service. Management, some of your cashiers have poor hospitality and they don't have an attitude of going beyond. I asked was a manager there and the young lady wouldn't even get the manager. Disappointed in this location.

This place has lost the soul. The food is overcooked and tasteless. Beef ribs are just beef bones in a tasteless sauce. Mac and cheese is a no, greens a no. The food reminds me of food from the aunt that is known for being a bad cook but thinks she can throw down.

I’ll start this review by saying that eating healthy, quality food is important to me, so folks who normally eat here may like it just fine - I did not. The salmon cakes, while perfectly fried, were very mushy and moist on the inside because they’re made of canned salmon that have in NO WAY been properly drained. Couldn’t even finish one because of the gross, mushy texture inside tasing just like the juice in the can. Cabbage was also mushy due to being overcooked, and the sweet potatoes tasted of WAY too much sugar. Got an order of meatloaf covered in gravy, which was annoying because we didnt know there was gravy and we weren’t asked if we wanted any - we hate gravy on meatloaf. Mac & cheese was disappointing as well. On the positive side, the beef ribs, fried catfish, and baked beans were good. Service is fast but barely friendly, ordered 4 meals for a family and was out in 10 minutes without so much as a hello or thank you from the cashier, who was simultaneously arguing with the guys in the back & texting while taking our order. Won’t be returning here again though due to the quality of some of the food & service.Parking: Parking lot is small & a bit confusing/hard to find space especially when they are busy.

The food is good and the prices are great. Unfortunately, the customer service has been trash lately. Online ordering is never available and they never answer the food.

First time visiting Henry's. The food was great! REAL SOUL FOOD! The greens were tender and perfectly seasoned, and so was the fried catfish! I also had fried okra and a slice of sweet potato pie. What a treat! The portions are huge. There was enough to save for another meal. Service was efficient, and the staff was friendly. I will recommend and visit again soon.

The food was great. Coming from the south, I didn't think you could find good southern food in the north. WRONG!! Great food here. Need to try it if you're ever in the area.
