I didn’t take pictures but if cupcakes are just sitting out all day they are going to lose their freshness. I got a red velvet & chocolate. Neither flavor was very sweet or moist and the cupcake paper was stuck to the cupcake and most likely due to sitting under a light for hours. Just something to think about as a bakery but try to keep fresh cupcakes out :)

I read many reviews that I decided to try it today at Fair Oaks Mall. Truthfully, they were very lackluster. The cake was dense and tasted like it had been frozen for a while. Even if frozen, the cake should be light and fluffy (as I am a baker myself). The frosting was good because it was whipped cream based but the cake was not good. I feel very dissatisfied to have spent over $8 on two of these cupcakes.

I came here after a friend had their birthday catered with Messy Treatz cupcakes. My favorite was the banana pudding, strawberry shortcake and cookie-doe. You’re in for a real treat no matter which cupcake you get ?

Terrible service, literally made us wait 5 hours for the cupcakes we ordered just to end up not even making them. They lied and said they were in the oven and when we got there they just said they weren't going to make it. Overall just rude and unprofessional. There was no reason for them to lie about the cupcakes almost being ready and then wasting our time. We went 3 separate times to pick up the cupcakes and every time they told us they were "almost ready" even though they hadn't even begun to make them. Do not recommend.

I went here twice on my visit to the National Harbor. We received excellent customer service on both occasions. We liked the strawberries and cream, white chocolate, messyfetti and the banana cupcake. We will be returning!
Stopped in and grabbed up some treatz for Valentine’s Day, the owner was super nice and told me all about her amazing treats. I had a banana pudding cupcake and it was so good. Stop on by and grab a treat.

We had an awesome experience at Messy Treatz. My girlfriend and I was at the mall we walked passed the shop but then decided to go back and check it out. We are glad we did. You are not just getting a cupcake you are getting a treat your way. We had a biscoff cupcake, banana pudding cupcake along with a messy cupcake let me tell you they were delicious. I got my share of sweets that day. If you have not been there I suggest you go and experience it. The owner was awesome and she makes sure your experience is the same.

We went yesterday based off a recommendation. The cupcakes are moist and delicious topped with just enough frosting that isn't overly sweet. The owner was very kind and informative.

I’ve always had a good experience here. i think the cupcakes are sooo good but today it changed everything. I went to go purchase a cupcake for me and my coworkers on my break. I got a white chocolate caramel, banana pudding, and a cookie monster. I went back to my job and i started eating it, half way finished I got a chunk of something terrible. it was like a sour taste, and i decided to just brushed it off. My cupcakes unfortunately fell and so i decided to go and get two more. I came back to work and started eating them again and that’s when all of a sudden it’s that same exact sour taste. I knew this wasn’t a coincidence. so i decided to go back again and get my refund. I approached the lady who was working there. She gave me a whole attitude and looked like she didn’t care what I had to say to her. For this reason I don’t think i want to make a purchase here ever again.
