The candy is awful!! Very old. Hard. Horrible taste. I never thought I would walk into a candy store happy, and after one bite of what I purchased want to return everything. I bought chocolate marshmallow on a stick - at least several days/weeks old. The gummies??? How on earth do you mess that up. Hard and flavor off. Buyer beware.

Yes! Yes! And MORE YES! I'm not even sure why they have a 4 star rating but I would give them 10 stars if I could! I walk in, a man immediately greets me with a smile, he's busy working with a huge pan of caramel apples. I move past the buckets of candy! There are the trays of apples! I want them all. The sweet girl behind the counter says she will be right with me. Customer service is amazing but coming home and eating my candy was perfection! Coming back every time I'm at the Harbor!

Service was absolutely horrible. The workers were miserable and acted like they didn't want to be there. Everyone had an attitude except the poor dude making candy but the others really need to be fired immediately. I cannot imagine how this place is still open. I have been to the one in Savannah and it is night and day difference.

If I could give zero stars, and still leave this rating, I would! I ordered a box of pecan turtles, and they were old, the nuts were soft, and the caramel was rancid. I sent an email to Customer Service to see if I could get a refund or a fresh box of candy and they didn’t do either one. I spent $48 on this box of candy that I now have to throw in the trash. I will never ever order from them, or recommend them again!

The store, itself, is very cute and has a lot of variety but like... the prices were astronomical, and the items I purchased were really not good. They didn't taste fresh at all. I got a fourth a pound of fudge, and one milk chocolate turtle. Both were the worst I've ever had. The fudge tasted like it had been sitting in a refrigerator for weeks. ridiculous. The fudge is $26 a pound. I'd much rather have the fudge at the Amish market. Definitely will not be back. Oh, and we had to wait forever for the ice cream. The ice cream ended up not even being good. I questioned whether or not it was rotten because the milk had a strange taste.
Went in for a milkshake and they said they don't have any more milk. There was a cvs selling milk about 50 feet from their doors, but that must be too much to ask of

The food is good and the store was well organized and clean. However, the sales person on December 21 seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else. She did the bare minimum to complete my sale. I walked out to get fresh air while my friend waited for her to take care of his order. She kept taking others ahead of him until he walked out without having purchased anything. The store wasn't that busy and they lost a sale.

Totally the same quality and hospitality as the one in Savannah, Georgia! Love the popcorn, apples, and of course the chocolate gophers! Quaint shop with sweets and southern hospitality in DC! Definitely stop by and grab some gooey chocolate pecan goodness!
