Pupusas are decent! Usually order the pork/cheese ones.I did order a fish taco this time. Very disappointing as they just used a fish stick. Gross. Definitely will not order that again. Pretty shocked to be honest. ?♀️Enjoyed the carnitas, and love the chips and salsa though. Presentation is perfect and different each visit.

Burrito was HUGE for $8. Our team was working on the area and stopped in for lunch. Food was absolutely delicious, fast, and the prices were VERY affordable. The salsa that came with the chips (I know it is not usually the highlight) was the best I have had almost anywhere. Fajitas smelled fast, and drinks were ice cold. This place hit a 5/5 on all fronts. Will definitely be back!

El Mochajete. Just get it. My favorite and a bargain as a bonus. Shrimp burritos are really good. The Carne Asada is tender and flavorful. Corn tortillas here are thicker than I'm used to, but what a pleasant surprise.

first of all i love this place. i cant recommend it enough to people. however tonite i got the worst service ive ever gotten here and i cant just let it slide. the girl with the pink hair is either retarded or just having a bad night. she brought over a basket with a small hand full of chips. i asked for ice water she brought back bottles of cheap bottled water. the food was great but my daughter and i sat there unnattended for most of our time. thank god there was an other lady working, she was kind and attentive. Primero que nada, me encanta este lugar. No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente a la gente. Sin embargo, esta noche recibí el peor servicio que he recibido aquí y no puedo dejarlo pasar. La chica del cabello rosado es retrasada o simplemente está pasando una mala noche. Ella trajo una canasta con una pequeña mano llena de papas fritas. Pedí agua helada y ella trajo botellas de agua embotellada barata. ella simplemente no parecía querer estar allí y eso se reflejó en el servicio. La comida era excelente, pero mi hija y yo nos sentamos allí desatendidos la mayor parte del tiempo. Gracias a Dios había otra señora trabajando, era amable y atenta. Desafortunadamente, a partir de ahora solo pediré comida para llevar en este establecimiento.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. They have amazing Papupas and if you go on Tuesdays they're only $1.50 each. The Horchata drink is a must have, simply amazing. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean and comfortable if you want to dine in.
Honestly love this place! Amazing food! We get the tripe and tongue tacos regularly. The red sauce that comes with it is perfection. The salsa and chips or salsa and queso is really good too. I would recommend ordering online though. Sometimes it's hard to make sure your order comes through on the phone. Just wanted to leave a good review since I saw the ratings dropped recently, this place is still my favorite for tacos!!

Delicious food, my friends and I got the $1.50 Birria Tacos(special Monday deal). The salsa they gave as an appetizer was also delicious. It’s clean and cozy inside, and the staff is very friendly. I’ll definitely be back

The staff are friendly. And the food. Where do I start. The food is amazing. I didn't take pictures of everything and don't know all of the names of the dishes-I forgot. Sorry. But I literally went back the next night to order the same tacos because I was craving them. I got the tacos combo-three birria tacos. It came with black beans and rice. I don't like black beans in the first place, but I really didn't care for these. They were a bit crunchy. But other than that the tacos and rice were amazing. It comes with salsa verde which was bomb and consume. And a red sauce that was really nice and smokey. My mom had a meal that came with shrimp in a red sauce, cactus, a stick of cheese, veggies, chicken steak, and the red and green sauces. She loved it. My sister got enchiladas with salsa verde. And my other sister got almost exactly what my mother ordered but it came with a fried egg instead of shrimp. Everyone loved their dishes. But note that the Pasadena location doesn't serve alcohol. My family said that a margarita would have gone perfectly with the meal. When I went back the next night, it was late so they were blasting reggaeton (not too loudly). And I loved it. If I lived closer, I would come here multiple times a week. And while we were eating, A LOT of customers came in and out ordering takeout, so you know it's good.

I had an excellent Cubano sandwich (eat it with the knife and fork) and my friend's chicken fajitas looked really good. I don't want to jinx it by saying it here, but the price was very reasonable. Half my sandwich came home with me. Waitress barely spoke any English and you pay at the busy front counter. Comfortable if somewhat worn booths contribute to the atmosphere. Coke comes in a can and "locals" seem to go for the fountain drinks. I plan to go back.
