I was here years ago and wasn't impressed Tried it again and deja vu. Way too much for your money $14.00 for an 8 inch cheesy bread,meatloaf was almost chewy like gum,small rack of ribs,side salad was very small,Sodas were $4.00 Honestly it was a waste of time and money. Grandkids did like the crab dip but burgers they said were just ok. I will definately not be back

Taylor was amazing!! Gave great recommendations and felt like fast friends by the time we left.The Surf/Turf special was so good, cooked and seasoned perfect, and that garlic butter...WOW! Meatloaf and potatoes was also very, very good. Really worth the visit.

The food was good. Dessert though, had the apple crumb, it was partly frozen on the bottom and no ice cream :( the home made whip was good, but not enough. All in all, a good place to go.

I had a burger which is advertised as a “smash” burger but it was far from being smashed. I got a double patty too because I was expecting the patties to be smashed and when it came out it was more meat than I wanted. The meat also had no seasoning and there was char on the patties. It is advertised that they cook them to medium well, but mine was well done. I would not go back simply because of that burger. The service was good and the food came out quick, but we must’ve been in the servers blind spot as he passed us 4 times without checking in with us. It was also a busy night so can’t blame him but something to note.

My son recently moved to the area, so we wanted to dine out in his area for a home cooked meal. The restaurant seemed nice from what I had read. When we arrived, the atmosphere was nice. I ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes and spinach. My husband ordered the Founders meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My son who is a connoisseur of burgers, ordered one of the Tavern burger with cheese. The short ribs were hard on the outside, dry, tough & chewy on the inside. I was really looking forward to a tender braised short rib; it was not moist at all as I hoped for! The mashed potatoes and spinach (chewy) were just okay. My husband's meatloaf was not so moist either. My son's cheeseburger was also not moist. The wide sliced tomato and bun consumed the meat patty. The service was great, our waitress was professional and kind. I'm not sure we'll return.

The food was great. I just believe charging $10.00 to add chicken to a salad is outrageous. The salad then is $25. Have not seen that high of a charge at other restaurants. Mostly around $5-$6.

I got the steak and I ordered it medium well my steak was cooked well done, it also had no flavor at all just very hard to chew. The waiter was very nice and quick with bringing out food and drinks. The inside of the restaurant was nicely decorated. I would go back but maybe try and order something different.
