What can I say, we've been coming to Johnny's for 30 years. The service is good the food is awesome and the prices are more than fair. It's probably been in Pasadena since it was founded.Parking: There's ample parking for the number of seats available. If the parking is full then most likely the restaurant is full too.

One of the best, if not the best restaurants in Pasadena. Fresh home cooked meals, large portions & reasonable prices. No one beats their breakfast!

My very first time here and it was a treasure! I was welcomed energetically by the hostess. She was patient and very kind while I was deciding. She recommended things and brought everything I needed or wanted. I recommend the home fries, hash brown, bacon and scrambled egg platter but they are also known for their hash and egg as well as many other delicious options. They have coke products plus coffee, juices, water and tea. They have cereals and breakfast for kids. It's a cozy spot with a touch of southern charm like feel. Extremely clean and family friendly. It's like a place where everybody knows everybody! Please give them a chance you won't be sorry!!!

1st visit (I didn't by know it existed). I had the Rueben, which came with chips, pickles, and slaw. It was terrific! I will definitely return.

Until yesterday my husband and I have eaten here many times and spent a lot of money. The waitresses and the cooks are great but we happened to have a server named Charles..who we've had many times. But yesterday he was the rudest, unfriendliest ever. He didn't even ask what we wanted to eat or drink..just stood there tapping his fingers on the table like we were bothering him to take our order. I ordered tea and my husband ordered water..but wewere charged for two ice teas. So because of his attitude..I put a line through tip with a note the extra $3.19 he charged us could be his tip.Don't know what his problem was..but it will be our last trip there. Now for the "food". I ordered meat loaf with tomato GRAVY and it was served with brown gravy scraped off and replaced with tomato SAUCE like right out of the can. My husband ordered roast beef with gravy and French fries which was so tough he could barely chew it. Not once did we hear hello..how was everything...or THANK YOU!! Just grabbed our credit off the table..brought our receipt and slammed it down on the table. Two cases of indigestion for$36.21. Some people just aren't made to work with the public.Parking: Not many and very tight.

We recently visited Johnny's for the first time and were very impressed. The food, service, and prices were all excellent. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the food tasted homemade. The waitress was friendly. We will definitely be back!

A little hidden local gem. Good food, excellent staff, good prices. Fun and festive decor for every holiday. Could use more food allergy education and gluten free options but staff is very helpful and accommodating.Dietary restrictions: Helpful and accommodating even if unfamiliar with allergies.Parking: Not a huge place but parking can so sometimes be difficult during popular breakfast and brunch times especially on weekends.Wheelchair accessibility: Small place but accommodating.
