My family and I have been eating at Lista’s regularly for many years and love both the food and the wonderful staff, who have always made us feel like part of the Lista’s family. The restaurant has, of course, had to make many changes during the ongoing pandemic to protect patrons and staff. We miss the way things used to be the same way we miss how much easier everything used to be, but we have continued to enjoy our delicious food and drinks and fully support the practical decisions the restaurant owners have made regarding packaging and food service. It’s been really disturbing to see negative reviews by people who are abusive to staff because they feel entitled to a pre-pandemic experience. Life is harder than usual right now and it can be disheartening, but going after folx that graciously provide yummy food and cheer isn’t working to improve our collective situation. If you can’t treat people in the service industry with respect, stay home. Thank you so much to Lista’s for your continued awesomeness through this difficult time! We love you <3

Lori Lane and others, are you crazy? I can say I disagree and you did not really share the entire story, did you? Lista's is the best place going in Pasadena and it is amazing how they have pivoted in order to remain in business and still open. So they have had to change their business model and you now get takeout containers and plastic silverware, so what! Are you aware they are no longer a full service restaurant? Are you willing to stay and wash dishes for them? Have you seen how many businesses have not made it in this 'new world' we all live in now? And Lista's is still going strong? Sure some things have changed and I am sure constructive feedback is welcome. If they asked you to leave I am sure they had good reason (and they did). It's a shame businesses these days have to put up with miserable customers that just don't get it with how supply chains and staff have diminished. If you are someone who is out to just complain, stay home. This is a very sad story of a place that used to be amazing. My husband and I have frequented this place over the years. They always had the best drinks (pink mojito was my favorite) and their desserts. The food was great too. We went there tonight. 6pm on a Saturday night and I am sorry to say the mojito they served in a plastic bag that took a minute to pry open tasted like a stick of spearmint gum. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. Oh, did I mention it was served with plastic silverware in a to-go container. The appetizer (queso) wasn’t brought until our meals were. When I tried to tell the old lady that runs the place how sad I was she copped an attitude and told me to get out. Thank you ma’am for the hospitality. My husband and I were hoping for a relaxing dinner but ended up getting asked to leave in a very disrespectful manner. I assure you we will not be returning.

Food was okay....Atmosphere was a complete disappointment. They take you to your table and give you paper menus. Once you make your food decision, you go up to the counter to place your order. If you order an appetizer, be aware that all your food comes out at one time, IN CARTONS! You get plastic utensils, bottled drinks, it was a disaster! No one ever came back to our table to ask if we needed anything else. If I wanted carryout, I would've gone to Taco Bell.Lista's used to be one of my favorite restaurants...NO LONGER!

I have eaten here and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a steak dinner. The steak was tender, juicy and seasoned to perfection. The veggies were crisp and delicious. I will definitely come back for more.

Disappointed you get seated to then get up to place your order. Then your food comes in take out containers. Cute if you like to eat out of take out containers. Didn't stay.

First time at Lista's this past Friday night....and the last. We were not told when we walked in that all their food was served carryout style, we found that out when it was brought to the table along with the plastic cutlery. I ordered a margarita which was served in an insulated travel cup and my chicken quesadilla in a cardboard clambox. Plus we had ordered a burrito with an iced tea - appetizer never made it to the table. Food was lukewarm, no sides, had to ask for salsa and chips - served to go style, of course. We should have taken our cue and took our business to go. Our bill was $64.00. I could not believe it. No wonder the place was empty.

I just got carry out. Very disappointed!!! I ordered carnitas. My refried beans were spoiled! The rice was hard. My guacamole had brown spots in it.. The restaurant kind of smelled.

Nice place. Service was good, friendly & attentive. Food was the usual Mexican fare but a little pricier then other similar restaurants.
I ordered carry-out here last night. The service and food were very good. They didn't miss anything in my order and were friendly. The colorado carnitas were really good from the pork to the sauce and guac. Will be ordering here more often. Thanks.

I have been eating at Lista's since I was a little kid; not once was I disappointed. There was never another restaurant that came to mind when my mom let out the question: "what do you want for dinner?" Nothing could beat the fresh crab dip, fajitas, and nachos. Fast forwards years later, I now work here, coming back in on my days off to get the same food with take-out because it is just that good. Getting an inside look at the process and effort that goes into each meal has only made me crave it more. Lista's will always be an exceptional restaurant in my eyes.
