Oscars has become a favorite for our little family. The burgers are amazing! The French onion soup was recommended by the waitress and I have gotten it every single time we go. It's the best French onion soup I've ever had! The service is always great. The kids menu is also fantastic. Highly recommend Oscar's.

Very disappointed in our meal last Friday. 2 cheesesteaks were lukewarm, steak tough, fries soggy, and granddaughter's grilled cheese barely had any color on it. So much so, the cheese was not very melted. With our last takeout experience being equally disappointing (hosts were not attentive to food on shelf, so our order was also lukewarm despite husband asking them to check shelf), we won't likely be back. Fortunately, the 3 other people in our party were a little more satisfied with their meals.

This was our first time here and hated it. First it was cold in there. Then we ordered crab dip that they should call cheese dip with a dust of crab meat. Then we ordered 2 chicken cheaspeak dinners. My husband and best friend said had no flavor at all. I ordered chicken and shrimp jambalaya with pasta and a side salad. It was so spicy that my whole mouth was on fire. It wasn't enjoyable at all. I had to turn it away. The Cesar salad was the best thing. We got dessert also. 2 orders of bread pudding and brownie sundae. They said the bread pudding was ok. The brownie sundae was like eating an unsweeten coco cake. Unfortunately we won't be back.

food. waited over half hour for food after ordering. 3 in our party, 2 ordered the same and the third a burger. Thinking this situation through ,,someone may have noticed the burger was part of the order so set the other 2 meals aside till burger was ready. Server did not give us a heads up about a delay. Server said': onion rings coming out of cooker right now. another 10 minutes food arrived. onion rings were tepid in temp and obviously had been cooked much much earlier. Have eaten here before and liked the onion rings. the sandwiches had been sitting around all that time so the bottom piece of bread was soaked wet from sauerkraut. talked to manager- offered to redo meal. Said no we'd been there too long already . manager said I'll make good on the meal. After speaking to manager we waited over 10 minutes to get "bill " not sure what manager was going to do. Manager did not charge for sandwich but did bill us for soup and drink! In lobby, leaving restaurant the manager was there, I observed him turning his back to us so as not to acknowledge us. Very rude , immature and unprofessional. Never again.

Oscar's Alehouse is a hidden gem deserving of a perfect five-star rating. What sets it apart is its winning combination of well-priced, delicious food and a welcoming, kid-friendly atmosphere. From hearty burgers and crispy fish and chips to flavorful salads and savory sandwiches, there's something to please every palate. What's even more impressive is that despite the quality of the cuisine, the prices remain reasonable, making it accessible to families and budget-conscious diners. But what truly sets Oscar's Alehouse apart is its kid-friendly environment. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate families, offering kid-sized portions and even special menu items tailored to younger diners. I forgot this building existed after living across the street for the last 3 years in Pasadena. First time coming since cheeseburger in paradise left! Wow so amazing. The best food, everything was beautiful, hot and fresh. Our server, Kara, was so sweet. Although she couldn’t suggest drinks since she is under age, she was a delight, very attentive and helpful. I came with 2 of my girlfriends for lunch and we had a great time. I typically take pics of food and love to leave reviews however, we were so hungry and excited we ate it immediately. We ordered the Tex mex egg rolls and omg those were sooooo good. The rum punch, vodka lemonade, and wild berry smash were so refreshing and great! I ordered a burger which may have been the best burger I’ve had in a while. My two friends got the turkey club and a buffalo chicken sandwich and all were amazing! We plan to return today for lunch with our significant others after bringing them home our left overs they were jealous. We hope to have Kara again!

Went to Oscar's for the first time recently. Ordered a few appetizers (pretzel, nachos, egg rolls) and dinner (reuben, chicken chesapeake and a winter special - chicken pot pie). Everything was delicious and the portions were large. We will definitely go back.
