I opted for the $13.95 Szechuan Chicken, a large Hot and Sour Soup, and two egg rolls. The bag of food must have weighed three pounds. The egg rolls were typical of what I have been served in Chinese restaurants for almost 50 years. Nothing special, not that you can do much with a fried egg roll. The soup was tasty with lots of sour taste which I like, but it was devoid of meat or soy. They were present in narrow slivers lost among the vegetables. Then came the big disappointment, the main dish. Chicken is cheap, especially when served in a dish costing $13.95, but if there was four ounces of chicken in this dish, I will eat my hat. It was a container packed full of carrots and celery, which cost almost nothing.I have been disappointed in most Chinese restaurants these days, but at least the others give you a decent amount of meat to go with the layers of cheap vegetables. This place is giving you nothing for your money but a heavy bag. And, bathrooms closed to customers and no inside seating. It's all take-out.I still have to go to York, PA from near the Susquehanna River in Maryland to get Chinese food that is unmatched by any other place I have tried between here and there, almost 50 miles.They all offer amazingly fast service, but it's all about what comes in the bag for the money you have handed them. I will cross this place off my list.Kid-friendliness: No inside seating or service. Or restrooms that you can use.

Giving 3 stars because they really like to use broccoli as "filler" to save cost.. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken last time and it was almost half filled with broccoli. That is an obscene amount of broccoli. So this time I asked for no broccoli and the lady says "ok no broccoli extra chicken" whatever that means.. I get there and find they charged me $1 extra to remove the broccoli! Absurd.. I'd skip the kung pao unless you like it to be half brocolli.Other than this, the food is fine.
Wonton soup. Terrible. Tried it again after three times. It is bad every time doughy and tasteless. Fried rice? Plain dried out Terrible 3 times- you are out!

I go to eat at random restaurants around Maryland because of work, today I stopped by Golden house, and it was the worst chineas food I ever had, I didn't even know it's possible for Chinese food to taste bland, the sauce for sweet and sour chicken was ok, but the chicken was really bland and the breading was horrible, then I got this beef Cho lo mein and it's all grease no flavor, wouldn't recommend, the customer service was great though.

If you are looking for the best General Tso’s in baltimore (city and county), look no further! This is it. Get the white meat, it’s delicious, big chunks of chicken and the flavor is amazing. Make sure to stir it up when you get home, most of the sauce is on the bottom.

Who serves a chicken and vegetable dish without sauce? Total letdown to open the container and see the bland chicken, barely cooked vegetables, and no accompanying sauce. Add insult to injury with the cold, condescending, and dismissive attitude of the staff… nah, I’ll take my patronage elsewhere, thanks. What a disappointment.
