This a bistro and art gallery. The food is from local farmers and they insist on supporting small local businesses. Try the beet salad or the pastry items. They can make just about any espresso drink you can think of. Love this place . The rotating art exhibit upstairs features art for sale and changes every six weeks. This place has a cozy vibe that's lost on most modern coffee houses. It's great for socializing but it's quiet enough downstairs that many people work on their computers there. Try sitting outside now that it's getting warm out for lunch or tea with a friend. I often take my son or meet up with pals here. Highly recommended!

In a sea of little to no food choices in Poolesville, is the oasis Locals! Satisfying, fresh and locally sourced fare. Try the Unearthly Good Veggie Bowl, the Chicken & Waffles or hefty cheeseburger! Grab a coffee or beer/wine while you're at it!

During our visit to Locals Farm Market, we savored their delicious crab cake sandwich and the mouthwatering bacon cheeseburger. The crab cake was full of flavor and perfectly seasoned, while the bacon cheeseburger was juicy and satisfying. The rustic charm of the market and the friendly service made it a delightful dining experience for the whole family.

Very good breakfast food. For those hiking the America Discovery trail coming off the river into Poolsville will nearly save 2hrs before rejoining the Ohio & Chesapeake canal. Plus you get to have a hot breakfast!

A lovely, friendly and rare all day breakfast place with good coffee and food. Highly recommended! We came for the first time. Love their chicken kabob, chicken sandwiches from lunch menu and chicken & waffle breakfast. Very cozy. A sunny day helps too. Will definitely bring friends here soon.

Set in an early American home in one of the oldest places in Montgomery County, Locals Farmer's Market is a cute little spot for breakfast, coffee, and lunch. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Google's directions take you to their parking lot rather than the store front and given that they are in two different places, that is really helpful. There are only a handful of spots by the storefront. The food is plated brilliantly and the taste does not disappoint. My chimichurri chicken kabob over salad was exquisite. The London Fog (Earl Gray with milk) was also delicious. My partner had the Rise and Shine with a mountain of bacon. Very tasty. Will be going again. There's beautiful art on the walls and they do special events too.

If you want to go to a cafe in Poolesville, this is the place. The coffee is fantastic (and I'm very picky) and the food is good. They really live up to their name and have a ton of locally produced goods for sale. The only reason why I'm not giving this place 5 stars is the hours. Please be open more often so I can give you more of my money!

Such friendly service when we walked in. Adorable local crafts and produce for sale. The baked goods all looked incredible but I opted for the breakfast sandwich which was delightful. And my husband was thrilled to learn they also sell local beer.
