Good food (although limited choices for this vegetarian/sometime pescatarian), friendly service, real bierstube atmosphere, VERY complete German beer selection.

This is the best German food I have ever had. We drove 1.5 hours from PA to try this place and it was well worth it. The best sauerkraut hands down! And my family was fighting over the pig wings they were so good. Highly recommend. Staff was great to. Super friendly and awesome service. Just don't get the dessert. I mean, the desserts were great but at 9$ a slice, it was not worth that. The picture shows the German sausage sampler. 6 different sausages. They all tasted spectacular. My daughter and I shared that plate. That plate also has the sauerkraut and German potato salad. We got a side of red cabbages as well. All five of us in the family loved all 3 of those sides.Parking: Parking right next to the building.

I had sausage, sauerkraut, and potato salad, and my husband had schnitzel with spaetzle. It was all excellent! The server Lisa was helpful with suggestions and very friendly. We enjoyed the entertainer, he had a couple of accordions, one was digital and could play different types of music. It was very interesting.! We enjoyed the evening, thank you!

Fantastic, authentic German cuisine. Great atmosphere and the service is wonderful. Come here for a memorable dining experience. If the weather is nice, the beer garden just might be open.

10 stars for Oma's Goulash! The leftovers tasted even better the next day. Large chunks of meat, buttery spätzle, mouthwatering sauce - this hearty, savory dish was just what the doctor ordered on a gloomy, rainy day. The value is insane! I loved our unplanned visit to Prost on a Saturday. There's a large beer-hall style dining area and separate bar area for sports and shenanigans. Their food menu, beer list, and decor give off major Munich vibes. I was a big fan of the variety of offerings. We started with a large pretzel and jalapeno bacon potato poppers. Beers can be ordered by the liter, because this is the only appropriate quantity to consume German brews. The staff was kind, but service definitely made me feel like I was in Europe. The food came quickly, but I felt like we waited forever until we finally flagged someone to give us the check. Ample parking and indoor seating makes this a great place to gather with friends. The menu is sure to please most, if not all, with a fun selection of food, drink, and dessert options. The prices were fair for the amount of food you're served, and if you're lucky, you'll have some to take home. Prost is a solid joint.

After eating at a few legitimate places in Germany, I was craving some authentic German food in the states. I found this place and it was highly rated, and now I see why. The atmosphere felt like I was back in Germany! The food was fantastic, the beer was even better, and the service was impeccable. If I’m ever back in the Aberdeen area, I’ll make it a point to come back to this place!Parking: There’s an attached parking lot with plenty of parking available. It was really easy to get parked here.

Visited on a Saturday and hope to come back. Saw a man in lederhosen! Enjoyed the knackwurst plate. The dessert had good lemon flavor but the whipped cream appeared to be a bit synthetic. They take Visa and MasterCard but not AmEx

Prost German is kind of odd the beaten path but a good find. The atmosphere is really cool and feels like you are stepping into somewhere in Germany. The food was ok but the staff was amazing!

The food and beer here are amazing. The staff is always incredibly friendly and happy. The sauerbraten is the only one I've ever eaten that's all good as my mom's and the bread dumpling and red cabbage are both delicious. This place is a haven and I come here whenever life is getting too rough to eat, drink and escape for a couple hours. It's even better in the warmer months when the biergarten is open.

Truly enjoyed this restaurant! It felt a little like a German beer hall with the bench seating and the antlers on the wall. The service was great and the food was excellent. Definitely on the top side of the price range, but the food was delicious! The Jägerschnitzel with Spätzle was a favorite. If you like pork chops, they have a melt-in-your-mouth chop that was a hit with everyone at the table. The sauerkraut was too sweet for my liking, but the german potato salad and the wursts tasted great. I would absolutely recommend!

First visit here, my Brazilian friend wanted authentic German food. The restaurant looks very authentic. The ambiance is beautiful, wooden beer tables and benches, German Schlager music. As a Bavarian, I was hopeful. The Service was amazing. Faith is a sweetheart and everyone else was also very attentive and kind. 5 stars for the Service team. We got the big pretzel appetizer and it was good. The pretzel was warm and soft and had the right amount of salt. My friend had the Jägerschnitzel with fries and she loved it. The fries were very delicious, easily some of the best we ever had. My food was a different story. In all fairness, I am a Bavarian girl from Munich so I kind of knew that I probably should have gone with the Currywurst to save myself from disappointment but I stupidly went with the Schweinebraten mit Knödel (dumplings). While the pork roast was ok and the sauce was not too bad, the dumplings were inedible. Furthermore I have never seen an uglier Knödel. It had the consistency of play doh and the color of Christmas cookie dough. You see, a true Kartoffelknödel should have a light yellow color and once you cut it with a knife if falls apart and melts in your mouth. I think we will be back to try the sausages but I would advise to stay away from the dumplings since they are not at all what you would expect from a Bavarian Knödel. The first two pictures are from Prost and the last picture is a Schweinebraten mit Knödel in my parents house in Bavaria. If you ever had a good Knödel you know they are heavenly.
