We hosted a baby shower at Denizens Riverdale Park last Sunday for about 50 people. I can't say enough what a great experience it was from the planning to the actual event. From first contact there was great communication. It's obvious they know how to handle events. The indoor space is great and we ended up having a flow of people from inside to the outside patio. The food was delicious. Our guests like the food so much we ordered additional platters and it was great to be able to do so during the event. The warm chocolate chip cookies at the end were a hug hit as well. There were so many great beer options and guests enjoyed the tasting options. I'm a Hefeweizen girl and it was delicious. They have many non-beer options as well like wine which you don't often find at breweries. The staff were great day of event as well. Pablo the manager, made sure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. The service was so exceptional that guests commented to me during the party. This is definitely a place to meet friends for happy hour or have a special event.

We held a big birthday party at Denizen's and the team there couldn't have been better at helping us host. The reserved the large patio for us, set up some decorations, and made sure that all of our guests had as much food and beer as they could want. The Catalyst event menu was great -- the biggest hits were the garlic knot dogs, those are amazing. They have a wide selection of truly excellent beer so everyone could find something they liked, from the barrel aged coffee stout to the light pilsner. I had a few glasses of my favorite, the Lowest Lord ESB, and was thoroughly pleased with the event. Helpful, friendly staff, great food, exceptional beer -- all that you could want. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Bean burgers, pretzels, bruschetta and hummus plattersParking: Parking on the street and a few lots nearby

My family and I love Denizen’s @ Riverdale! We go there regularly and I recently hosted a plant swap event at their place. The customer service is always fantastic and their beer is the best in town. They are always so friendly and accommodating. I strongly recommend Denizens for a casual night out or if you’re looking for a hip, laid back venue for an event. Their corn dogs and The Chapless Horseman is my favorite food/drink combo (if you like a strong, heavy beer, that’s the one to order). Their Drag Show Bingo nights are a blast, too. Shout out to John, Pablo, & Jenny for an excellent dining experience!

We celebrated a birthday at Denizens @ Riverdale Park Station. The interaction with the staff before during, and after the event was extremely helpful; everyone was very kind. They made it really for us to reserve the place, accommodate it to our needs, and even stay a little longer than the closing time. Of course, the beer is outstanding!Kid-friendliness: Being a bar and restaurant that accommodates everyone, it was the perfect place to include adults and kids and enjoy with family and friends.

I tried the Dunkel and the Rauchbier--both were excellent. Owner/brewmaster is very nice and made everyone in my group feel welcome.
The beer is excellent. Great year-round and seasonal options. Classics and unique brews (like a smoked marzen). Catalyst Hot Dogs operates out of the brewery s kitchen and they are legit the best hot dogs I've ever had. They have some good non-hit dog options too, but not a huge typical pub menu (I'm ok with that). Super great service and super clean overall. Only other minor knock is that the TV's are kinda hard to see from many of the seats, so it's not the best as a sports bar (which they don't claim to be). Overall, really great brewery and hot dog joint.Parking: Free public parking garage around the corner, street parking right in front, and shopping center parking all around. Lots of options.Kid-friendliness: I see families with kids every time I go. Adult oriented, but kid friendly. Good kid options for food too.Wheelchair accessibility: Completely flat and wheelchair accessible. Also wheelchair friendly ramps on streets and sidewalks.

Great local brewery! We enjoyed trivia a lot, and have sat outside with the dogs on multiple occasions. Yummy hot dogs and great beer. Consistently excellent servers. Easy free parking. You can buy beer to take home too. Highly recommend!

The food and service was good until I got the check. The automatic 20% tip was an unpleasant surprise. I didn't want to cause a fuss over a few cents but I found it distasteful and made me regret eating there.
