Ordered a Pizza yesterday.. it was actually pretty good. The reason for my review was because of how the delivery driver from this place treated me.. it wasn't uber, it was this restaurant's delivery guy. It starts with me waiting downstairs for him so he can easily make the delivery, as I know what it's like to be made to wait when the customer orders something from you. So when I sign the receipt for the food, the delivery driver said "thank you for not tipping" and gave me an angry look. I let the driver know i was in the process of tipping him in the uber app, (people have scammed me in the past so i always tip on arrival) he glared at me and in an angry tone and said "yeah sure" and stormed off. Like look ok? The pizza was pretty good.. but honestly I'm not paying for pizza so I can feel like me and the delivery dude are gonna get into an argument.. for this reason I'd say if you're gonna get food from this place my recommendation is DONT ORDER DELIVERY. To the owner: Your pizza is good ok? But my friends and I are probably gonna avoid this place as not to run into this dude again. To prospective customers, if you do order from this place and you like to tip on arrival.. I guess be sure to have cash ready on hand and not use the app idk

It's cool but they don't make the pizza I remember I remember the old deep dish pizza with the hunks of tomato maybe I ordered the wrong thing but it tasted completely different to me it's good pizza but I think the old recipe was better

The only thing good about Armands was their lunch buffet and good selection of beer. Looks like those days are gone...only a f***ing idiot would think their pizza is still good. And it was never 'Chicago Style" deep dish! only their crust is deep or too thick!!! want deep dish...go to chicago!

Disappointed. I’m not sure what happened with my order. I ordered a medium dish with pepperoni, green peppers and black olives. The pizza was ok (except cold when I got it…) and an order of garlic bread with cheese - and there was definitely no garlic on them (super cold) which made them taste terrible. Maybe it would taste better if it was fresh. Will not order from here again - or if we do maybe not on a night where they will be super busy.

This pizza is PHENOMENAL. It is the BEST pizza in the DC area! Best Chicago style pan crust AND best regular crust. Sauce, cheese, crust, all amazing. Consistently good. Try them out, you won't be disappointed.
Had a nice pizza dinner here in a Meetup group last weekend. Service was great considering we were a group of about 20 individuals. I had the 10" veggie pizza, which was good. I had a glass of red wine, which wasn't bad. They were able to give us all separate checks. Overall, a good experience. Parking is around back and plentiful.

Only giving 1 star because the cashier/server was nice. I feel like many of the 4-5 star reviews here are from another time because they don't describe the food/restaurant accurately at all.Food: The pizza is gross. Every component of the deep-dish pizza was bad quality- sauce tasted like the worst quality store-bought kind, the cheese was hard and tasted like powdered/pre-shredded mozzarella, and the crust was the WORST- the dough either didnt have enough time to rise, or it was stale. The crust was white and the cheese was barely melted. For this price point, just go to Emma Rossi for real pizza.Service: Just slow. There was only one person during dinner and so service was obviously slow despite there being only 3 tables.Atmosphere: Not great. There were 2 highchairs and they were both falling apart. I literally had to push it back together at one point when my son moved to hard. Very unsafe. Tv is on and the ambiance is non-existent.
