I made the mistake of neglecting to double-check my pick-up order. After driving back to work, a 10-minute trip, I discovered they had omitted the steamed rice, which is an additional $3. Upon calling to address the issue, the person on the line offered to have the rice prepared for me to pick up but refused to issue a partial refund, suggesting a credit instead. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, let alone an apology. While I didn't anticipate anything beyond a refund, it seemed unreasonable not to receive one. Why should I endure another 10-minute drive, find parking, walk to the restaurant, and then return back to work? By the time I'd return, my chicken would be cold. Not to mention I was starving at this point. It appeared they regarded my inconvenience lightly, despite my payment and tip. Requesting to speak with a manager, I was initially denied, and after insisting three times, I finally spoke with Gorica. However, she maintained they couldn't offer a refund. I expressed disbelief in their inability to refund a mere $3, especially in this day and age. Eventually, Gorica relented, mentioning she needed to consult her own manager. She promised their manager would call me within 5 to 7 business days. It's absurd for such a small matter to require such a delay. While normally, I wouldn't fuss over $3, the lack of empathy displayed was utterly unacceptable. Now, I wait to see if they fulfill their promise and issue the refund. Positive Note: Gorica called back to tell me that they refunded the money back.

Review is based solely on a delivery order. Bonchon is just as great as a I remember it! I got the half-half spicy and soy garlic combo. The spicy chicken had the right amount of spice where it was not too overbearing, but still pleasant to eat. But the true star was the soy garlic. I've had many soy garlic chickens before, but this one blew me away! Will definitely try to come check the place out in person!

I love BonChon, but the lady answering the phone will keep you holding forever and hanging up the phone. The guy is very polite and nice, but they gotta train that angry lady on customer service.Parking: Need to park in Rockville Town Center

I haven't been to Bonchon in a while, so I was really looking forward to having some chicken. I ordered my usual which is a Chicken Katsu to go. When I received my order, I was greeted by a burnt piece of chicken. Nonetheless the flavor was okay... however the chicken was deep fried for far too long so it was pretty dry and it left a slight burnt after taste. The coleslaw tasted pretty good though!
Was getting my car serviced in the area and decided to actually go to First watch across the street and they were closed until 5. I decided oh I can do bonchon I love the chain and they have alcohol. I Walked in & was assumed to be an Uber eats driver. Finally sat down at the bar after It seemed to be a chore. Asked what’s in the bulgolgi bibimap and he referred me to a menu… got the bulgolgi bibimap and it was primarily mushrooms. He didn’t mention mushrooms. I picked about a half a pound out of my food because I don’t like mushrooms it was literally 2 pieces of beef left. I asked for more bulgolgi because it wasn’t even a regular portion he goes to talk about the price. Thankfully when I go out I’m not worried about prices so I said come on man can you just get me what I asked for. He goes & takes forever. I just said you know what I no longer want it can you just charge me for the beer I ordered. He then goes takes another long time just to say I have to charge you for everything. I paid, left the food and exited. I will never return again. For them to have no business (at least while I was there) you would think I’d get treated with the minimum respect I deserved. I don’t ask for much I do believe someone should know about this though. Which is why I’m writing this review. I finally wound up at El Mercata directly next door and I was welcomed with open arms. 10/10 if anybody is looking for an awesome experience.

I love Bonchon, but not this location. If you want chicken that is both crispy and juicy, order from the Market st location in Kentlands instead.This location is miserly with their chicken and it is tough like jerky.
