They have the best hot pot meat I have ever eaten. Maoxuewang has a large portion and is very affordable! The flying pancakes are also super delicious! The dry pot sausage and Chiba tofu are also super delicious!
Absolutely the best Chinese we've had in the DC area. We came here days after being blown away by Szechuan Mountain House in NYC and Chuan Tian Xia compares favorably. The fish with hot chili oil, Chongqing spicy chicken, potato floss with white vinegar - all superlative. A standout in this area; we'll be back often.

The lunch specials are great! Had the twice cooked pork, the spicy ribs, and the cold spicy chicken dish ( I forgot the take pictures of all of them, which is usually a good sign). Not busy on a Friday and free parking in the building (for under 2 hours). I want to go back and try the fish dishes. Great service and very attentive waiters.
