My family and I absolutely love Cooper's Hawk! This specific location is where we have embraced going out as a family and getting to know the staff has been a wonderful experience. Jackie, the manager is absolutely amazing, very caring, and personable. We have completed many tasting as members, and really appreciate Mark and Taylor specifically, as they are knowledgeable and it is clear that they enjoy what they do. You will not be disappointed visiting Coopers Hawk!

We had the best experience at Coopers Hawk last week! We’ve been wine club members for a couple of years and started noticing how chaotic the tasting room at our usual location was so we decided to try out Rockville. We’re so glad we did! From the kindness and knowledge of the staff to the flow of how the tasting room was run, everything was amazing. Sophia greeted us so warmly and kept our glasses full going so far as to allow us to taste wines that were not on the tasting menu. She was lovely and the experience was made even better by the rest of the team who made sure we had what we needed whether we were in their section or not - thank you Sophia, Brittany, Tyrell, Faizah and Claudia! We had such a great time in the tasting room that we migrated over to the restaurant and had some yummy food and cocktails by our bartender (whose name we didn’t catch). Overall, great atmosphere, lovely staff and tasty food and wine.

9 March I planned an important life event at Cooper Hawk off of Research Blvd in Rockville. The service from Manager on duty Bri (was the name is told me). Totally unaware of her surroundings while on duty and a terrible passive I don’t care attitude about my concerns as a customer spending a great amount of money for 32 guests in the private event. She assigned 1 waitress to a large party of 32 guests for a private event! I was totally upset and highly irritated! Fortunately for me I didn’t settle for Bri unprofessional behavior and attitude. I asked to speak with a Manager named Jackie. God is great she was on duty and she Jackie! Single handedly turned my event around with getting the assigned waitress help to take orders and to fill them. Jackie the Superior Manager changed the atmosphere, the ambience and my entire party took notice immediately! She arrived with a smile and warm kindness to my family and my friends! Jackie the Amazing Manager made my event A-1! It’s because of her I can and will return to this location to again enjoy!The Manager Jackie and Steph the waitress went above and beyond to make this right for me! And my family! Thank you so much!!

The food was great! But I joined the wine club and getting out of it is WORSE than any gym membership you’ve ever gotten into. I’ve called numerous times. I’ve emailed. Now I have to go through my CC. This is a nightmare and a waste of time. Don’t join the wine club unless you want it to last for the rest of your life or you have countless hours to waste cancelling!

Just want to take a moment to thank management, as well as our sever, Michael Angelo, for the incredible customer service this past weekend. My wife and I were announcing to my parents that we were expecting our first child (also their first grandchild) and we asked the staff for assistance in the surprise announcement. They couldn’t have done a better job! We are eternally grateful and so happy with the outcome. Thank you so much for helping us make our special moment perfect!

I’ve been a wine club member at Cooper’s Hawk from quite some time and usually have a great experience, but the service we received on March 15th or I should lack of service was unacceptable. We came in around lunch, it wasn’t really busy that day. Plenty of empty tables around the dining area. We sat at our table for 20 minutes while servers (managers included) helped all the tables around us and we never got so much as an hello or a glass of water while we waited patiently. As a black male I can take a hint when the serves are not interested in waiting on you and got up to leave. It wasn’t until then that someone finally spoke to us, but at that point we were fed up. The manager was apologetic and offered to comp the meal, but at that point we already wasted 45 minutes and had to get back to work. Plus, why would we want the same servers to handle our food after we just finished complaining about their poor service. The manager never offered to take our account information and comp future meal or anything. I’ve been to plenary of Cooper’s Hawk locations from Chicago to all of their DMV locations. The Rockville location has by far been my worst experiences and this was me giving them the second chance. The first incident I was sat outside in the blazing Sun, barely given any water and almost passed out from dehydration. I would of asked for more water but again servers were hard to find. It must be a black customer thing.

Excellent experience. Began with dave during wine tasting. He was so pleasant and gave excellent explanations of the wine pairings. The hostesses smile were bright and delightful. I actually reserved and my home spot in tampa. But they took care of me. Then Jackie was soo sweet to introcuce herself to us at the dinner table. But Matt. The waiter was awesome. He’s the reason i and coming back sooner then i want too. Kudos to the chef. Our food was amazing. Really shout out the chef please

Coolest wine bar ever. Came for dinner but really could have just had wine and apps. Flights (4 glasses) are very inexpensive and everyone gets a free taste of one wine. The chocolate red was splendid and smooth! Food was to die for. Get the drunken shrimp and the wedge salad and the pan seared Mahi. I'll be going back next time I'm in DC.Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't bring my kids. This is a place to enjoy when you need a break from the kids. Adult vibe.

I love being a member at Cooper's Hawk! I only frequent the location in Rockville, MD because the Rockville staff are completely awesome and make me feel like a valued member. Paola and Ash are fabulous bartenders and make the most delicious drinks. The over the border egg rolls, drunken shrimp, calamari and meatballs are my favorite appetizers. If you're trying to do a tasting on the retail side, you should only ask for Marquette! Marquette is very knowledgable on all wine and makes the best suggestions after speaking with you to get a sense of your palette. Marquette is very friendly, can assist multiple people without rushing anyone through a tasting, and seems to enjoy his time working at CH. You must stop into the Rockville location and visit Marquette!Parking: There are plenty of spots to park, and there are plenty of spaces to park nearby when the location is extremely busy.

I have been to Cooper’s Hawk a couple of times now and I’ve had a stellar experience each time. I really appreciate the food and the service at this location in particular. I am consistently blown away by the attention to detail. The hostess, Ms. Penney always greets me with her beautiful smile and warm, upbeat demeanor. I can tell that she loves what she does and I always look forward to seeing her.We had a bottle of red wine and a bottle of white wine that the wine attendant Marq hand picked out for us to sample beforehand and I truly appreciated his vast wine knowledge so that we understood what we were drinking.For appetizers, we started with the thai lettuce wraps and the sweet chili calamari. Both of these dishes had excellent flavor. For dinner, I ordered the grilled steak with chimmichurri. My steak was seasoned and cooked to a medium perfection. It was so good! My friend had the short ribs and kept remarking about how tender and delicious it was. I can’t recommend this place enough and how great the staff is.
