Dear Diary - Within the area there are a lot of boba tea places to try/go. This is a place to definitely try. Some of their flavors are something you do not usually get at other general boba locations which makes it appealing to go and try. I will definitely go back again to try more of their seasonal menu.

Stopped by early afternoon on a Sunday. I was trying to order online beforehand but for some reason my order wouldn't pass the captcha test. Upon entering, there was only one person working so was bouncing between the register and making the orders. I came in wanting to try the large boba but got sucked in by the roasted brown sugar milk tea instead. I ordered 2 other drinks for my crew to go. When I got back, one of the drinks had spilled in the bag :( I don't really know how since the lids seemed to be sealed, but maybe they were put in the bag before it was fully sealed. The roasted brown sugar milk tea had a good flavor to it and even though I got 50% sweet, it was still too sweet for my liking. The boba were a great consistency though - so chewy and bouncy.

My go to for boba in the Rockville area. I generally get the honey green milk tea with boba - the tea taste and boba is just right for me

Cute little boba spot down Rockville pike! I really enjoy their boba as an avid boba drinker, as they make really good teas. Their drinks in general are also not as sweet compared to some other spots J have tried, at the same sugar level. Pricing wise, is also quite reasonable, which is a huge selling point for me. For example, we got the passionfruit green tea large, which already came with two toppings included for $6, that is so uncommon in this area! I also ordered the purple yam milk drink with sago and purple rice. Service: service was good, nothing much to say for a boba place as you place your order and wait for your drink. They also have board games to play for people who choose to sit in the store and is a great place to hang with friends.

Quality of the Pearl Milk Tea in particular was satisfying. It has enough body and tea flavor, and the boba was good and reasonably sufficient in proportion (see pic). I'll give this place that.It was our first time here, and first impression with service was a little weird. The person in front of us seemed new too, and got Authentic Milk Tea which does NOT come with boba - something I almost mistakenly ordered had I not gone down further on the menu. The customer offered to pay the difference, which was 25 cents, and they said they couldn't do it, and that was it. For a first time customer and an honest mistake with offer of payment... it came across as pretty stingy. They also told me that because I had mine with no ice, they'd fill the cup slightly less than full, which also came across as excessively stingy and I was taken aback a little. I'd never encountered a single store that nickle-and-dimed that hard as far as I know. Maybe it's a survival thing, but it really messes with the mood. Conclusion: The Pearl Milk Tea was pretty solid. They had games and stuff there and a moderate amount of seating. Potentially good hangout place. The vibe of the service just cuts into the joy of the moment for me.

Daboba has a wide selection of boba teas from classic milk to warm drinks. The service is quick and extremely helpful. The owner had a lot of recommendations for warm drinks since I came in on what could be best described as the world's coldest day. The shop has a casual, welcoming cafe vibe with board games to play with friends.

Great service, waiter answered all my questions about all the different flavors they had. Let me sample a big boba ball (made of grass jelly). They were super transparent about the drinks so I feel like I made good choice when ordering:) Cute interior, board games that you can play with friends! I got the honey pearl green tea milk tea with less sugar and ice. A bit milky and less strong tea flavor but it's ok still yummy. (maybe cuz i had less sugar). My friend's matcha brown sugar drink was super tasty though. I also really liked the wintermelon fruit tea. Super fragrant and delish.

Slow service despite it not being busy. Other people got their drink before us, even though we ordered first. Unfriendly employees.

What a cute little bubble tea spot! I was running holiday errands and I was all up and down Rockville Pike. I'd been wanting to check this spot out, so I took a break from errands to do so. They've got board games, the adorable bear logo, and quite a few options to choose from! I decided to go with the egg pudding series and get a taro one with no sugar. The staff were like "are you sure??" and it's either 0 or 50%... if it was like 25-30%, I would've done that, but I was confident with my decision. It was ready in a few minutes, and after my first sip I knew I made the right decision. The sweetness was still in the egg pudding, so it worked out perfectly! Only thing is I was sad not to get one of those bear ear lids -- maybe the type of boba you get determines the lid! Either way, I enjoyed it, I want to try more, and I'll be back. Give them a try if you haven't already!
