“Metro Cafe is a small cafe located inside an office building off Crabbs Branch Way. Patrons are usually employees from 15800/15850 Crabbs Branch buildings or the Goodwill HQ. The two women who run it, Hannah and Kim, are the two nicest people you'll ever meet. They know almost everyone by name. I've never experienced bad service here. In the mornings, they have coffee, bottled drinks, muffins, fruit, breakfast sandwiches, etc. My favorite breakfast item is the Hannah breakfast sandwich. It's sausage, cheese with grape jelly on toast. So good. During lunch, they have a small buffet set up that's priced per pound. They offer a decent variety of foods ranging from salads to typical American fare and sometimes kimbap (Korean sushi). They also have made to order sandwiches. I really enjoy their tuna melts. My coworkers love their Philly Cheesesteaks. There are two small tables for customers to sit inside, but most people usually take the food to go. For the price, portion, quality and service, I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a breakfast/lunch break. PS they close at 3PM so if you're looking for an afternoon coffee, you might be out of luck.“
“I work a few buildings away and was introduced to this gem by a supervisor. There's a wide selection of sandwiches, wraps, chips, and pops. I'm currently obsessed with the lavender cucumber sparkling water. They also have Asian lunch specials which is what I usually get since they come with a side salad or some veggies. With that said, the wraps and sandwiches are also very good. The prices are also very reasonable. The two sweet Korean ladies working there are very friendly and have great customer service!“
“I just had an amazing Nova Lox everything bagel at Central Plaza Deli! A hearty bagel with a healthy amount of lettuce, tomatoes, onion, capers, cream cheese, and most importantly....LOX! My belly was appreciative!I especially appreciated the gentleman working the front asking me how everything was, and I told him the same thing I am telling you all, "The bagel was amazing! PERFECT! I didn't care for the coffee; it was weak, and I prefer mine stronger, but the bagel! The bagel was perfect!" To which he replied, "Thank you! We try to focus more on the food and not so much the coffee," and I can respect that. That being said, if coffee is your thing, this isn't the spot; however, if you love a good Nova Lox bagel... look no further! And to the kind and hard-working lady preparing the food in the back, I heard you yell "Thank you", my dear! YOU ARE WELCOME! Every time I looked up from taking a bite, you were hard at work! Keep it up! You are definitely a master of your time and craft. It is evident that planning and preparation are two of your skills and talents!“
“I have lived in Rockville my whole life and just discovered this Deli when I was looking for something quick to eat in the area. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the workers were at making each sandwich with care to each of our different wants. The quality of the meat was very good and the sandwich was big and delicious. I ordered the Godfather Sub toasted. Highly recommend. They also have a good variety on the menu and you can grab a beer or wine and bag of chips just as easy.“
“The little deli can fool you. Yes they serve fresh Chinese and Latin dishes! You can't beat handmade and fresh flour tortillas (breakfast only)!Just had a Baleada....yum,yum!!!! My rating is for price, taste and customer service. I found out these are only available for breakfast.Breakfast Baliada and a drink $10-15.“

“Take my reviews with the knowledge that to get a five star it has to be perfect. We visited on a Sunday morning around 10am and there was no line and about 3 tables taken. Nearly all the bagel options were all gone. Most of the tables were available, but we could only find about 3 that weren't dirty. Service at the counter was polite and efficient.Food was as anticipated, good enough bagels, not the kind that you have to chew into and pull hard to snap off a bite. Bagels are easy to bite into. I was pleased that I was given more than enough cream cheese, possibly too much! The cappuccino was also as expected. $9.05 for large cappuccino and a plain bagel with cream cheese (March 2024).“
“A throw back deli like the best NY has to offer. You’re as likely to see your old Hebrew school teacher enjoying a white fish platter as you are a landscaping crew chowing down on bagels and lox. Service is quick and courteous; pickle bar is plentiful; sandwiches sumptuous; desserts decadent. Chicken soup and matzah balls like grandma made. Eat al fresco in nice weather. What else do you need?“
“The sandwiches are delicious and you get a lot for what you pay. Its rare to find a small business with amazing prices and so many options. The smoothies are my favorite. You get a large fresh fruit smoothie for just over $4. That's half the price I pay at big chains.“
