This review is just for a few Xian dishes, as a Xianese, beef soup水盆羊肉 and cold noodles are both authentic and delicious to me, I didn't expect to see beef soup in US, I was so surprised and it turned out so good, my partner is not from my region and he was also amazed and kept drinking the soup! Cold noodles are better than any other Xian foods in US I have had. But I didn't get Meat Bun this time because they need to get the bread imported from Xian which delayed for a long time. Hope next time I come to DC they will have it!

Definitely a smaller food hall with less selections compared to other food halls in the area, but still a good option. You can order with a worker or use their self-service kiosk. My only complaint about the self-service kiosk is that sometimes you can't see the additional charges on items when ordering poke. A worker brings the food to the table for dine-ins. I ordered the poke and it was good, however I think they put too much rice. Not the best poke I've had, but it does the job. The food hall itself is very clean and pretty empty even on a weekend. I would rate it a 3.5/5 but will round it up to 4/5.

Pros: Tasty, well portioned dishes. Cons: Service staff wasn't helpful in explaining menu options. Menu had less selection than similar restaurants.

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love AUTHENTIC Asian Food!!! I am about to tell a story... please forgive me... on my way to find another Asian spot, I stopped into this restaurants that said it sold authentic Japanese, Korean, and chinese food . I didn't believe it so on Tuesday, I first ordered Korean fried wings and chinese cumin spicy chicken buns!!!! When I tell you I got a taste of both cultures that sent me to food heaven; that's an understatement... Then, on Wednesday, I went back and got cumin lamb & braised beef rice dish with a cold dish. Then today I got an Hawaiian Poke bowl ( with a Japanese flare) since most Hawaiian food is influenced by Japan. Anyways the poke bowl was nice Brain food!!! And Peach oolong tea with spicy duck wings; which I didn't like per say not because of taste because it was great. It the packaging kind of threw me off. It was in a preservative non-microwaveable package in which I had to cut out the duct from the package then put on stove !! I will take pictures next time...Srry I don't have more pictures started eating before coming on here.

My wife and I had the Crispy Meat Bun (pork) three times: 1) once eaten immediately after picking up, and 2) twice eaten after a 15-minute drive home. Here's the breakdown. 1) When eaten immediately, the Bun is out of this world. The pastry is super crispy and the meat is superb. The balance between the lean and the fat meat was perfect. The juices were flowing, but have not tainted the pastry. For $8, this Bun is something no foodie will regret! As for my vegetarian friends.... nvm... idk if this dish will taste good with veggie options. 10/10 2) When eaten after a 15-minute drive, the bun is delicious. The pastry is crispy and the oil have not fully oozed out. The bun has slightly been infused with the fatty oil from the meat, but the taste is still great! 9/10 I believe if the Bun sits in the beautiful bag longer than 1hour, then this dish would go down drastically. So my advice for anyone ordering the Crispy Meat Bun is to eat it immediately!

$2.5 for a small bowl of write rice?! You have to know that at most Chinese restaurants it's free

The service was great. You walk in and put in your order on the computer and the immediately start your order. It was quick and I didn't have to wait long. I got a poke bowl and honestly I feel like it is too much rice for me because I couldn't finish it. I know a lot of people won't say that's a bad thing but it's just my preference. The rose yogurt tea was amazing !! So so good and I will definitely be coming back to that. The place was clean and I don't know if a lot of people know about it because it is in the corner and no one was really in there.

I agree with what others have written: Terrible ramen. First, the broth is over salty and weirdly sweet at the same time. One of the foundations of ramen, the broth here ruins the dish. And let's not forget the noodles, what I was served were not ramen noodles, they reminded me of spaghetti. If not bad enough already, the pork was flavorless and dry, the vegetables frozen, and the egg cold and overdone. What a disappointment.

My new favorite ramen place ... delicious, flavorful and fresh. Poki portions also great and super fresh! Can't wait to bring others to try. Much more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere compared to The Spot. We will be back!

Great light meal for two tired travelers. We really enjoyed the crispy lamb cumin bun. Delicious takeout option.

Best ramen ever! I constantly want crave it and I can never get enough. I always get the chicken base and extra egg. Absolutely adore it! My bf loves the spicy beef with chicken. The employees are so sweet and friendly. Their smoothies are amazing too especially the strawberry! 10/10 recommend!

We ordered a carry out of crispy buns: stewed pork and cumin lamb. The portions were big with lots of meat. Both were good but we preferred the lamb bun because it was more flavorful. The lamb was cooked with onion and jalapeño. It was absolutely delicious! We also ordered a classic Thai tea with amber Boba. The tea was pretty sweet. Boba was hard to resist but my stomach felt bad afterwards. I knew Boba wasn't healthy because there's no nutrients except empty calories.

Had the 肉夹馍 both with pork and cumin lamb, the cumin lamb one was quite good, nice big flavorful lamb chunks. The pork ones were just ok for me, I must commend them as they did give a lot of meat for both. Pork one was still good but it wasn't fatty enough to give me the flavor I was looking for. I also ordered the Thai milk tea, it was a good flavor, not too sweet

Walked in on a Wednesday afternoon in search of comfort food so I ordered a pork crispy meat bun (burger) and a beef vermicelli noodle soup. The meat burger was very THICC with meat and the flavor was good. The meat was a bit lean though (not that I mind eating less fat), and overall, it was a bit salty for me. The bun isn't the traditional 馍, it was more like a 油饼 or 酥饼, so maybe that's why it tasted saltier. It was still very satisfying. The vermicelli noodle soup was awesome. The flavor tasted pretty authentic, reminds me of the same dish I used to get on the streets of China. It had a nice spice from the white pepper, and there was a decent amount of beef; more than I was expecting. It's the perfect thing to warm up with on a cold day.

I've spent many years working all over China and was thrilled to find tasty, authentic noodle soup and meat buns from the cuisine of Xian (home of the Terracotta Warriors, and an ancient metropolis). Best food of this kind I've had in the US. Freshly prepared, reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
