I'm not one to go around posting reviews but this restaurant deserves a I paid $24 for a lomo saltado that doesn't serve the potatoes they made them with 5 chips ?the meat was very dry they couldn't even give it a sauce and when talking to them but not even an apology no Spend your money in this place. Terrible service

!!CAREFUL!!I bought food on 2 different days and they charged me a custom amount of $5 dollars both times and when I asked they told me it was because I bought some meat tacos and that they gave me extra meat when I never asked for extra and the other time they charged me the same when I only I had ordered quarter chicken, the explanations don't make sense, it seems like a robbery to me.

I'm a foodie who loves Mexican food. If the Tacos and Burrito Beef(steak) and chicken are good, I can enjoy anything on the menu with beef and chicken. When beef(steak) is dry and chicken is dry and salty, we have a problem. Also, my chicken had bones in it. I'm spoiled by great Mexican food from restaurants and even street carts in Los Angeles, California Wilmington, and the Long Beach area. They load one corn tortilla with lots of meat,I'm used to 2 because it won't fall apart while eating it, especially if you have to add sauce to not make it not so dry. I think it's time to take a trip back home to California for great food and visit family and more great food. Can someone please point me to a place in the DMV area that has good beef(steak)and chicken tacos???

Very bad costumer service attention from the lady name PAOLA, shes very rude and disrespectful with costumers. We are very disappointed of her unhappy attitude when customers ask for something.

It's nice to see that the place is still standing. After 6 years of traveling all over the world, I've never been to another restaurant that really water my mouth whenever I reminisce about Maryland.I grew up here, I worked at the nearby medical offices on Rockville Pike. Every lunch, id walk to this restaurant rain, shine, or sleet and order practically the same thing. A half chicken, Yucca, and Plantains. I knew the owner, he knew me as well. I told him my stories of my travels through the Peruvian Amazons, the dry highlands of Arequipa, and the coastal fishing villages in Paracas. It was truly one of my favorite experience.As for the food, it's not a five star restaurant, nor it has won any awards, or gain perfect ratings on Google Maps. It's a restaurant that you go to for lunch. It's hearty, warm, cozy meal that to me, it's perfect.I hope you give them a try and understand their flavors.Thanks for reading.

Sent my Mom here excited to try el pollo real for the first time...No one helped Us, lady looked at us then turned her back towards Us. She never turned around to greet us. I will never return WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!
