“On St. Patrick's Day, my mom wanted green beer, so we went to The Barking Dog. The gastropub was filled with sports fanatics. Since alcoholic drinks weren't permitted in the patio area, we were seated at a booth near the bathroom. My brother had an O'Doul's, my fiancé had a Crooked Crab Haze for Days Pale Ale, my parent shared a New Trails Crisp Lager (dyed green), and I had a Green Tea Cocktail. We shared an order of Pub Pretzels, which was served warm and with a spicy cheese dipping sauce.“
“I’ve been seeing this restaurant for years and we finally tried it recently. We really were missing out!! Every single item of food that we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and they were so kind and patient with our toddler. They have a great coloring sheet option for kids with crayons and she was distracted for big chunk of time, which was great for us. I really do love it when a restaurant thinks about their younger customers. Really appreciated that. The atmosphere is great and felt very cozy and welcoming. Not too loud, not too quiet — just right. Seating was ample and there was no wait since we were there on a weekday for dinner. We’ll definitely be back soon!“
“Went here for lunch because I work nearby and it was a great choice! Even though it's a little pricey (because of location), I got the mac and cheese grilled sandwich (almost like a grilled cheese sandwich) and I was full! It was only $10 (not including tax and tip) and it's a great lunch choice. The restaurant was empty inside but it looks like a great place to go after work hours. There were a couple of people at the bar relaxing but it was dead, otherwise. The bartender was too nice and funny. We were doing an inside joke and she was playing along. Overall, great experience. I would love to go there after work hours and eat while watching a sports game.“
“I loved visiting this bar and restaurant oh days I really need to relax with some good beers ? but at the same time be able to eat something delicious and then go to the dance floor to burn a few calories, the atmosphere is very happy and the staff are all very friendly and Attentive, I was impressed that the pupusas were so delicious, better than the ones I have eaten in a Salvadoran restaurant, the roast carnita 10 d10 we will return.“
“First, service here is excellent. Very attentive, prompt, and they got everything right. Granted, it was midweek, rainy, and on the early side. Service was slower last year on a nicer evening in late Spring. The food is really good Italian, the best I've had in 3 years of living in the area. We had tricolore salad, eggplant rollatini, meatballs, and chicken Parmesan. And a chocolate cannoli. All delicious! And the marinara sauce rivals my own.“
“The atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. The staff were competent and accommodating. We were in a separate portion of the restaurant, but never felt disconnected or ignored. That had much to do with Luca, our server. Amazing at his attentiveness and interaction.Front of house/owner: if your staff interacts with guests and make them feel welcome, that is a positive for the guests.Overall, we will be going back again and really enjoyed the evening. Ordered wings, hummus platter, and other food. All were great.Thank you!“
“I was in Rockville on a short trip..ordered a few "to go" items from the menu.Everything was DELICIOUS.My food was hot, fresh and served with everything I needed.Vegetarian options: I was pleasantly surprised that World of Beer not only offered Vegan/Vegetarian dishes, but would accommodate me by altering other possible menu choices I was interested in. Fantastic Service!!!!!!!“
