The best bagels in town! We had egg and cheese bagels for breakfast, plus excellent coffee (50% for additional cups). We also got everything bagels and sticks to go—great when frozen. Their bialys are fantastic as well. Friendly service. Highly

Jalapeño bagels! Great variety and selection. Super nice counter boy. No waiting on a Sunday morning during prime bagel time. Interesting schmears available in fridge to take home. Go there every time I visit.

If you are not an Orthodox Jew, don’t bother going. They’re just going to be rude to you. And if you are, then the quality is just poor. First, a bagel with cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, cost over $12. No coffee, nothing to drink just a bagel… When I asked about the price, I was told that iceberg lettuce is a “premium item” with a $2 surcharge. After waiting 20 minutes, literally, for the bagel to come out, it did not have the lettuce, tomato, or onion. I went to the cash register and politely declined the offer of a piece of lettuce on a napkin. Bernie, the cashier, was trying to process my refund (only for the cost of the lettuce) and spent almost 4 minutes clicking buttons on his screen. I told him I was a little frustrated that my stop for one bagel was now taking more than 30 minutes and I was still hungry. He told me that service was slow because it was Kosher food. I asked him what about being kosher made for low service, and he explained that there was only one cook in the kitchen, but two cashiers. I suggested that perhaps if they had such a long line, they might want to re-prioritize. Then, he raised his voice and started yelling at me, criticizing me for being unreasonable. I watched how he handled Orthodox customers in a much calmer and more respectful tone.

True authentic “NY” style bagels - you will not find a better bagel anywhere in the Washington DC area!

Bagels are the absolute best in Town!Smoked salmon is fantastic. Whitefish salad is very good. Wish it was chunkier.

Bagels are good but everything else is not very good to be so very pricey.

Their Oat Bran bagels are yummiest.

Seen it on my commute in, and decided to finally stop by this morning. An excellent call, going to incorporate this place into my morning commute! I don't understand the complaints about price when a bagel with lox in DC costs like $17 and the bagel isn't even boiled.

The bagels were good. It felt weird being there since we’re not jewish. The old man was watching us eat.

I had a fantastic experience at Goldberg's! This business is extremely vegan friendly offering two different types of Tofutti dairy free cream cheese and a wide selection of vegan bagels.Goldberg's has a lot of seating space. When you enter you place your order at the counter and then can wait in the other room for your order to come out. My husband and I both ordered everything bagels. One had plain Tofutti cream cheese and the other had chive Tofutti cream cheese. We both enjoyed the plain Tofutti more but both were great. The bagel was well toasted and nice and soft to bite into. There was certainly a generous portion size of cream cheese. We both enjoyed our bagels and were full till lunch.Goldberg's menu also has Impossible products and many veggie sandwich options. I definitely want to return to try more of their vegan offerings.

Bagels aside, the way the older man treated the young teenager worker there made myself and the other customers uncomfortable. He was reprimanding him and being very dramatic over a mistake the teenager. When my order was called and I didn’t get up there to retrieve it in less than 1.5 seconds the man was impatiently shouting out the details of the order. Lots of learning to do on this guys behalf but he may be too set in his ways. The bagels are sub par and inconsistent. I will not be back.

Great bagels. I would give it a 5 but ordering ahead for a couple dozen bagels is difficult. Supposed to be working on an on line system.

Fantastic bagels! Visiting from California we found ourselves repeatedly returning to Goldberg's bagels, an absolutely fantastic kosher restaurant. We purchased their smoked trout salad and home made trawberry cream cheese and ate a wide selection of their sandwiches. It was crazy good. Why don't they sell salt bagels in the Bay Area? Enjoying a salt bagel after decades in the wilderness was decedent and greatly enjoyed. My only grievance is that it dawned on me only later that I didn't get any black olives. What's up with that Mr. Goldberg? Here is the only area of improvement I may recommend. I don't know if I somehow overlooked this on their menu board. Oh and the menu board, was to far back for my wife to read very well. Otherwise, this plaza and this restaurant is fine dining for what it is. We'll worth going out of your way to enjoy.
