I ordered a variety of items, all delicious, from the Potomac Village Farmer’s Market (9908 S. Glen Road, Potomac MD, Thursday 3-6). I had the brazilian fish stew and rice, empanadas-chorizio, spinach, and the mixed berry scones.

The best brazilian cheese bread!! The beef stew with rice is also delicious. I cannot recommend this food stand enough! Check their website for farmers market times and days.

Best brazilian cheese bread!! The fresh juices and scones look delicious as well. The owner was welcoming and shared the background and inspiration behind Grandma Vera's. Love to support small businesses!

I emailed this bakery this past week to order their large beef and large chicken empanadas. Totally tasty food! I wanted these for my family's lunches because we are tired of sandwiches. I very much recommend their empanadas: they have hearty fillings with a nice crust.

Best fresh juices in the area. I came across this little bakery when visiting the Kensington Farmer's Market.

I discovered Grandma Vera at Bethesda Central Farmers Market and I'm already thinking about my next trip back. My only reason to go to the farmers market is to get my complete meal from them! My family loved all the goodies we got to include the cheese bread ball, fresh green juice, empanada, and fish stew! Need to try their scone next. I would eat anything Grandma Vera would like to feed me. What made it even more amazing is that we have a selective foodie toddler and she gobbled up everything!! That is saying something. Everything tasted fresh and healthy. The fish stew was so aromatic yet light. Cheesy ball so fluffy and fun to break apart, and the empanada was my favorite type because the breading was so thin and did not feel heavy. I am going to bring my own cup to farmers market next time for their juice to reduce plastic waste. I do love how they had paper straws. You have to drink quickly since the paper straw doesn't hold up long. Thank you for the wonderful food and reasonable prices too!

Their pastries are sinfully delicious! The only problem I have is it's not calorie free, but then who cares. Their desserts are beyond scrumptious!

OMG that cheesy-bread. To die for. We buy the frozen packs so we can indulge when we feel the need for a savory treat.

We ordered delivery via Vera’s bakery and enjoyed the scones and empanadas very much! They were so delicious that we placed another order. Nathanial was great to work with and very responsive! I highly recommend!

Only one of my three girls wanted to go to the Severna park farmers market with my today and it was the one who's name is Vera! It was so fun finding this, so of course we had to try something. I used my last cash for us to split an Apple turnover and it was AH-MAZ-ING

Discovered this bakery at the Bethesda Farmers Market and the sundried tomato and chicken empanada got me hooked! Picking up some tasty treats from the Grandma Vera's stall is now a part of my Sunday morning routine.
