“Dear Diary - This is one of my favorite convenient hotpots in the area. Using their iPad to order your items, they often come to the table very quickly. They do have a serving robot mainly handling drinks/dessert orders which makes it pretty efficient as they can focus on other tasks. Love the efficiency and the various soup base flavors that are offered.“
“There were free appetizers. The waiters responded to your choices on the screen really quick. There were many varieties of meats and vegetables to choose from. The sauce station had many options as well for you to mix and match. Everyone has their own pot and lots of room.“
“We arrived a little before closing time but they accommodated us. We have tried a couple of their other other locations so we had an idea of what to expect. We ordered the fish and shrimp pots and both were tasty. There’s a bit of local flavor as the taste was slightly different from their other locations, but overall tastes good. The charpati was crispy and fresh as well. Will definitely repeat.“
“This restaurant introduced hot pot earlier this year. Current lunch special is AYCE hot pot and skewers for $35. The meats are quality and you have over 5 skewers to choose from. Some speciality items include snow crab legs, scallops and hot chili wontons. These items are usually add ons at other restaurants and sometimes cost a lot more. My friends got the Tom Yum and I got the pork broths. Broths were rich in flavor and we ordered multiple rounds of the skewers.I love the high ceilings and how the dining tables are set up. You get a grilling station in the middle that is constantly moving. Each diner gets their own hot pot and the seats were really comfy. The sauce stations are covered and there are plenty of instructions on how to make your favorite sauces. Save room for the vanilla ice cream as well. Service here was on point. I feel like we had +3 servers at all times. You order on your phone and food comes out really quickly. You can't go any where in the area to get quality meats and hot pot at value. Fun place to try different types of seafood, meats and vegetables.“
“This is probably the best hot pot AYCE in Rockville right now, a true hidden gem as it is relatively new. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, compared to other hotpot restaurants in the area. If you're a fan of organs (I'm not) then this place has an above average selection too. For the soup base I highly recommend the chicken soup base. This is the best chicken soup I've had in the area! I don't recommend the spicy flavors as it really wasn't spicy nor had as much butter flavor. Even though I'm a fan of spicy hot pot, I'd come here just for the chicken broth, it is that good! I definitely recommend getting the skewers AYCE combo -- the lamb and beef skewers are sooo good! It's only $5 extra for dinner and you literally recoup it with 3 orders of skewers. They come out quick and is great to chew on while waiting for the hotpot items to cook! 5/5 for food and ambience (the place is relatively new and can comfortably seat your group without feeling crowded.“
“Today, I visited their place for the first time and ordered some barbecue from the restaurant. This is a fairly standard Chinese barbecue, where the grilled food is sprinkled with chili, cumin, and sesame. My favorites are the grilled lamb skewers and the fermented rice and egg milk.“
“I often set meals of celebration on my schedule after completing a hard day at work, hot pot hero has been my choice for that meal very regularly. Amy, always addresses me by name when I visit and always make sure I have everything I need. She and the rest of the staff are awesome, the food is also exceptional portions are great and the overall experience is why I go.Parking: There is parking on the road, as well as parking around the corner in the building next to HPH.“
“oh my goodness. Everything, the freshest seafood I've seen in just about ever, delicious broths, huge portions, great presentation. My first hot pot experience and I will be back, a lot of times. Met the owner, and he was wonderful too. I highly suggest supporting this tasty, and fresh establishment“
“I went there with my co-workers and the atmosphere was really nice since it had just opened. It was bright and clean and the food came out cleanly. The staff were very friendly and nice, but they didn't wear masks and talked too much, which made me a little uncomfortable. You're trying to be kind by saying a lot, but I think it would be better if you talk less or speak while wearing a mask.I will be going often in the future.“
“This was my second time having kpot, first time at this location . Buffet was all that! Especially the fried chicken & they were so accommodating bc we really only like flats & they provided us with that with a smile. It was clean. And the food came so fast!Only thing I’d like them to add that my first kpot experience had was a picture of good sauce options you can make.“
