Jalapeno Mexican Grill's catering is located on Parklawn Drive in Rockville but they also have a food truck. The food truck's phone number is 240-688-2646. Currently the food truck is located in the Kemp Mill Shopping Center's parking lot near CVS. It's very close to our home and we were curious to try it, so we stopped by yesterday to pick up lunch. We ordered chicken tacos and the chicken fajita platter. Three tacos come in an order. They were so delicious. Generous amounts of grilled chicken were tucked into a soft taco and topped with sliced radishes. Also included were a lime wedge and two sauces. We needed forks to eat all of the chicken that slipped out of the taco onto our plates. We decided the tacos were plenty for lunch, especially after we opened the fajita container and saw how much food was included. There were strips of that wonderful grilled chicken piled on top of fajita vegetables. On the side was a flavored rice and a small salad. I'm not an expert on how authentic Mexican food is or not, but I know what I like and the tacos and fajitas were a huge hit with Rich and me. I also heard the mushroom quesadillas are delicious. Can't wait to try them.
