Went in around 5 for dinner. There were no other customers. As has been written, there are dishes in warming trays, but nothing is written and there are no prices. There is a " menu" with list of items, but no price at all. We asked what some dishes were, and the woman seemed so uninterested, no explanation. We ordered one meat , 1 side, and came with rice, was charged $14.00! While we were eating some " family" or friends in the back near the register are laughing loudly, socializing. The food wasn't great, the atmosphere is unfriendly, perhaps to those who are new. Will not be going back...will go to Kuya Ja, which has a much better atmosphere and superior food.

Food court style restaurant with the entrees already cooked and on display. Got a combo which had 2 entrees and rice. I thought there was way too much rice for the portion size of the entrees. I didn't see the prices posted anywhere but when the food was being put in the box, judging by lunch boxes at Chinese restaurants or stuff you can get at food courts, I was expecting something in the $8-9 range. So I was disappointed at the $13 price and thought it would be hard to be worth that price (it wasn't ).As for the taste, the Beef Caldereta was very tasty but I thought the meat pieces needed to be stewed longer as they weren't very tender. The Chicken Adobo was okay but not as flavorful as I would have expected.I also felt it is not easy for new customers to decide what they want, as none of the dishes are labeled, prices are not shown and the menu was hard to find.

The take away: I would definitely come back here. The thorough review: A Filipino restaurant with a limited but respectable selection of main courses. After ordering two of the classics for dine in (i.e., bistek and chicken adobo), the cashier asked me just to pay after my dinner—I wasn’t sure if that was the norm or perhaps, she was simply busy helping another customer with another issue. I enjoyed the meal—no complaints. And apparently, they sell bulalo which I may have to try the next time I’m in the area. There is no shortage of parking outside which is a major plus.On the groceries front, I found the prices to be reasonable vs some places in MD that criminally overcharges.Overall, it was a pleasant eating and grocery shopping experience.

It's more like a grocery store than a restaurant. The atmosphere was very casual, lots of boxes piled up and took up half of the store. The service was acceptable for cheap eats. We went in to have halo halo, a popular cold dessert in the Philippines. It was a simple version halo halo and I didn't tasted many ingredients.

It was okay. Food is already cooked and then reheated. Tocino was pretty good, although needed a sauce. Chicken adobo was mostly flavorless. Best thing was the vegetarian egg roll.

I walked in and an EMPLOYEE was sitting down in the dining room and PICKING AT HIS FEET AND TOES!! He looked up at me and said, "Sorry".. lol. NOPE!! GO see a Foot Dr.. YUCK! If they do that in the dining room in front of customers, imaging what the DO in the BACK?!?!

I wanted to explore more Filipino food after I have tried it for a while. I chose KC Filipino Restaurant because I wanted to try Crispy Pata (Crispy Knuckle) that not many places serve it. (mostly pork belly) When I got inside the atmosphere was very casual and seem like a cafeteria or canteen style with mini mart. It might be very familiar for Asian people like me or Filipino. Too bad that they don't have menu or any food name on display glass counter, so it wasn't quite easy for me to order something else that I wanted to try (besides Crispy Pata). As for the food, Crispy Pata, I was a little upset. (From my experiences) It wasn't crispy enough, a lot of fat/skin parts still sticky and tough. That might be because they didn't fry it long enough and many customers there at that time. As for the flavor, quite tasteless, not much herbs or spices. I also ordered something look like beef curry (I don't know the name), I like this one though. It tasted quite mild and beef texture was cooked nicely. I still got BBQ pork skewer and fried banana, they both were just OK, quite plain and too sweet. For the service, as I said in the beginning, it was vey casual restaurant, so please don't expect to get a professional or full service too much. It was ordinary and informal restaurant type. (but inside is spacious and have many dine-in tables)p.s. If you have or know Filipino food background before, it would be helpful to visit this place but if you like a challenge and learn authentic Filipino style, that is fine too.p.s. Before I left, I bought a Filipino dessert to try, because I like the color (violet) I don't know what it is, anyway nothing was fancy.

I can only speak to the snacks so this review will be short and sweet -- and savoury! I got four different snacks -- two of them being peanut, one corn, and one mixture of oh-so-many crunchy things -- and as has been previously mentioned by another reviewer, the woman there was indeed very helpful! I have never been given snacking advice before so this was a definite (and very fun!) first; I was told they're really good mixed together, so after trying each individually I mixed them and yes, it was fantabulous! All four bags of snacks were completely gone -- as in, devoured! -- in a couple of days. I was not the only one who enjoyed them, but I was mostly the one who enjoyed them! Mmm! Thank you, KC Filipino! Very yummy! :-D(I would've liked to add a photo but I just ate it all up too quickly!)

Stingy with the portions. The halohalo was a disappointment. Lots of shaved ice and the jackfruit tasted a little off. ‘Saving grace’ were the pork sinigang and the fried bangus.

we have been coming here for many years as we live in the area and it is the closest filipino place. The food is ok. That said, I can never for the life of me understand why food we order is taken out of the serving containers at the counter and then brought back into the kitchen to be microwaved. Another thing is how do you run out of turon? We always have to call ahead as we have wasted our time going in only to find out they don't have any (even at the beginning of the day)!!! Also, who closes a restaurant at 7 during dinner time?? Luckily we have other options in the Rockville area. This is any place you go to for a quick fix, knowing what you are going to get.

Food was fantastic - chicken adobo and pork menudo were flavorful and delicious! Lunch time was busy so there was a decent wait but it was worth it - I'll be coming back to try some more stuff and to buy snacks from their mini market!
