TLDR: The food was better than some "fine dining" I've had, but its a totally humble family diner. My God, the food. I personally tried the yucca con chicharron, masitas de puerco, lomo saltado, and a piece of tres leches, and can vouch for them all. The masitas de puerco was absolutely my favorite; the pork was so tender and the sauce was crazy savory. Truly I can't remember the last time I had something so good. If you are a fan of onions or pork I cannot recommend it enough. The staff was polite, attentive, and accommodating.I will say it is a bit small/there's not a lot of seating. We came after peak dinner hours (8pm) when it wasn't full, but if all the tables were full I could see it being a bit crowded and chaotic. Would be totally worth it in my opinion, but if that's not for you, just come later like we did.

2nd time in this place, this time was just for a quick bite, tried to order ahead since we were with a tight schedule, unfortunately the person who answered the phone said they don't take orders ahead, not in a very polite way, anyways.at least the food was good and didn't take that long, the service...I'll say it's ok, could be more friendly though.

Owner is bad at customer service. I asked if he knew how much the plantains were and he told me he doesn't know then he said that I should know. There was also a time where I got there a few min before they closeand the door was locked. Kept knocking on door but I was being ignored. I'm not one to take disrespectful behaviour very lightly. Also their rice is never fully cooked. I've been to better Latin restaurants. This one is trash

Amazing food, and even better staff. I had the 1/4 white chicken, and for my sides the black beans + white rice and fried yuca. Everything was so good, and you definitely can’t beat the price.

First time there and they were so sweet. My 6 year old cousin finished all of her food and I’m assuming the guy was the manager said he was so proud of her and offered her a lollipop for finishing her food. When we left they all (cooks, servers, etc said bye to us in unison. Such a cute spot to get food with family. Food was definitely delicious. Portions are small but totally worth it! Will definitely be back when in the area.
So good! So much food for good prices.Clean, professional. We went for lunch and the food came out quickly and tasted super fresh. When I visit this area for lunch, I will definitely return. So good!

The best restaurant in the world, I miss it a lot. The chicken, bananas, black bean rice with their yellow sauce... To die for!
