I'm devastated that this place has closed. I liked it better than the La Limeña Grill further south on Rockville Pike. At least the sister restaurant is still available where many of the menu items are the same, but the original was more chill and had the full rotisserie chicken menu. I should have been suspicious when their website was no longer available a few weeks ago when I tried to pull up their menu. I know the pandemic really reduced their original menu, but its offerings were still tasty. I'll miss y'all in the Ritchie Center!

My order today was made to PERFECTION!! every bite I took was full of flavor, I asked for the chicken to be well done and to add extra sauce and they made it Perfect! If I could give this plate pollo saltado 10 Stars I would. I highly recommend this dish. I also ordered a side order of plantains and they were made just right!! If you live in the area or are simply visiting I recommend your stop by this Authentic Peruvian Cuisine, they have a huge menu filled with what you like. Thank you to the great staff and 10 Stars to the cooks!! We will be coming back soon!

The best pollo a la brasa in town! They've made this location more of a casual spot recently and the larger restaurant is the grill. Great place to grab some chicken and eat, or do takeout, been going for years and will keep coming.

This place is my favorite Peruvian chicken in the area. This used to be combined with La Limena grill and serve booze and fancier fare as well as chicken but not anymore. They still have some other fun dishes like ropa vieja. If you want an easy family meal you can't go wrong with the chicken and sides.

Excellent food and kind service family vibe is very welcoming. My favorite dish is the Trucha a la Plancha. However I am giving low stars for the use of plastics and lack of recycling. All of their food is packaged and served using non-compostable plastics. And they do not have any containers for recycling. Everything goes in one trashcan. We are no longer living in a world where it is ok for restaurants to be unaware of their environmental impact. If you do not make a conscious effort to be environmentally friendly then I would rather support a place that does!

We happened across this little gem as IHOP (Sunday at 11:15 am) had about 30 people waiting for a table. Wandered over and discovered La Limeña. We just had dinner at their main formal restaurant last night so it's a wild coincidence. The passion fruit juice is very good. They specialize in rotisserie chicken and also have empanadas yucca sandwiches & salad (limited menu). A few grill options (3) - it's perfect for lunch or dinner.
Everything about this place was exceptional! The food is out of this world and the service was great. It was our first time and we will definitely be back soon.
