My son wanted to treat me to a place that he found online, there is no way in hell he read the reviews and he knows that I don't play games when it comes to my Carribean food!!! I have now developed trust issues. I ordered my favorite, which is stew chicken. The chicken was hard, tasteless and had no gravy on it. The seasoning must've went on strike and to never return because the macaroni was tasteless as well. The cabbage was the best thing within the meal. With each bite, I became more and more disappointedThere is no way to convince me that this is authentic Caribbean food.

When I tell you AUTHENTIC!!! Jamaican food, this place is unreal and unmatched. I gave it fill stars because it was like I left Maryland and went to Jamaica. Well cooked, cooked with love. My favorite is Curry Goat with rice and peas with a liccal jerk sauce on top. This place will not stir you wrong on anything you may like. The ambience is like a little hut shop in Jamaica not like normal cookie cutters. And the cooks and servers are thoro Jamaicans. You'll enjoy it I promise.

I ordered pickup from Nice n Spicy via Ubereats, not once, but twice, and it didn't disappoint. I tried the oxtail and the curried goat – both were delicious and packed with flavor. The atmosphere, I'd say, was just okay, but hey, it's all about the food. They also have a fridge with cultural Caribbean drinks.They've got a good lineup of classic Jamaican dishes, so you'll find the usual on the menu. What stood out to me was the service – it was consistently pleasant on both occasions.If you're in the mood for some authentic Jamaican eats, I'd definitely recommend paying Nice n Spicy a visit. The tasty food and friendly service make it a spot worth trying out.

I got the food on doordash. Jerking chicken means grilled over wood or charcoal. I don't know what this was. Not impressed. Been trying to find some real jerk out here. It has been a struggle.

I was in the area and just had to stop in AGAIN for there Stew Peas. About a month ago I came hungry not sure what I was in the mood to eat. There Stew Peas caught my eyes but the lady behind the counter almost didn't want to sell it to me cause there wasn't anymore meat in it. I told her I was fine with just the stew. It was so so good (flavorful) like my mom makes. I enjoyed every bite. I love that they cook it the traditional (in my opinion) Jamaican way with pork (pigtail) in it. Both of my visits it has "hit" the spot each time. I highly recommend them for this item. Already looking forward to next visit whenever I'm in that area again.
They definitely surprised me. I love dahl and roti and I rarely get to experience it at local restaurants. Food was decent although it not set up for dining in. The server was very nice and made sure I had a decent size oxtail.

One elder lady working here taking my order and putting food in container was very rude, maybe because I am not Jamaican? She was very unpleasant and unwelcoming. I thought the oxtail and rice and greens were good here but I won’t be returning. Also the plates here are so overpriced.
