Here is a restaurant that has maintained their high quality of service and menu offerings throughout the years.We started visiting Niwano Hana in the 1990's and my mother's loyalty says so much about their consistency because Mom has dementia and much of what she recalls is in the deep recesses of her mind because she can't seem to make new memories.I'm so thankful for this place and the staff there for keeping up their excellence over all these years!You can find Mom and me there most Mondays before her classes at the Rockville Senior Center.

This restaurant has been a local favorite for generations. The sushi is always excellent quality. Great service too. And the clean, polished atmosphere is a perfect compliment to the food.If you are a fan of garlic chili oil, try the black and red roll. It has bold chili and garlic flavors paired with great textures.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian rolls, salads, and tofu options are delicious. I can happily create a healthy vegetarian meal at Niowana Hana.Kid-friendliness: If your kids are ready for a nice restaurant you will find a good experience here. No kid menu, but what kid doesn't enjoy some sticky rice?

We ordered the Botan Sushi platter and it was okay. Note that the nigiri have wasabi underneath the fish -- this is not standard for most sushi places and if you don't like wasabi you need to specifically request them not to put it on. There were at least 8 pieces that are just rice + vegetable, so it would have been better to order 8 separate rolls instead of the platter for the same price. Gratuity for 6 people was automatically included at 20%.
