I've had so many lunches here, this place is awesome. They have a wife variety of lunch and breakfast foods and everything is made well and delicious. When the world gets back to normalcy you'll want to check out their imaginative salad bar options. Mmmm My favorite, definitely the best thing in the area. Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, Mozzarella, Basil and Tomato Ciabatta Panini and Triple Decker Club Sandwich. The best!!!!

When you are stuck in an office building with not much in the way of food options near it you hope for a good cafe within the building. On a Roll Deli is clean, uses fresh ingredients, and is reasonably priced. There is a limited selection of food because they don't have a grill but otherwise this deli is a 'nice to have' spot to grab a bite without having to get in your car to go anywhere.

Great food at great price. I had triple decker club a few times and the portions were generous at $6.50 and the sandwiches were delicious.

On a Roll Deli is the best work/office deli that I have grabbed lunch at. In addition to the standard breakfast and lunch deli selections, they serve daily specials that include bulgogi, bibimbap, tacos, and spaghetti. They also offer a variety of chips (think Miss Vickie's, Dirty Potato Chips, etc., not the mini Lays bags you typically get), desserts (cookies, brownies), and snacks. If you are in a hurry, you can grab one of their ready made salads. My go to item here is the grilled chicken caesar wrap. It is packed with grill chicken! I mean packed. I also enjoy the Italian sub and Greek salad with chicken. All the ingredients used for their items are fresh and of great quality. Prices are reasonable, especially given the quality and quantity of food received. If you go during peak lunch time hours, the line can go out the door. However, the line to order/pay generally goes by fast and it doesn't take much time for your food to be prepared. The owner (who usually takes your order) and other staff are super friendly. Not only is On a Roll Deli the best work/office deli I have eaten at, it is also the cleanest deli I have been to. Nothing is ever out of place or out of stock. It's amazing!

I come here almost every day for one of their staple on-the-menu sandwiches or a special-of-the-day meal. The ingredients are always super fresh and tasty. I like the beef gyro, the south beach tuna sandwich, and the tomato/basil/mozzarella ciabatta a lot. Prices are very reasonable, and the owner is the sweetest guy ever! Definitely recommend!

On a Roll Deli is a phenomenal "OFFICE" sandwich/snack shop. It is located in the office building to the West of Clyde's Tower Oak Lodge and is only open from 7am-3pm. Your realistic parking options are side street parallel parking (b/c you'll get charged to park in the lot) and hence, a person who does not have business in those buildings will never find out about this place. The shocking thing about this place is that it's probably the best "OFFICE" (again emphasizing the word) sandwich shop I have tried in my life. While they do not roast their own meat (got to be realistic), they use one of the best nationally distributed deli meats (Boar's Head) and use quality ingredients in all of their sandwiches (my favorite here is the REUBEN-$7-$8, and the daily special SOUPS @ $3.99 w/o sandwich purchase, $2.99 with purchase), starting from the buns, the cole slaw, the fresh vegetables, and whatever they serve. You'll get a sense of the type of ingredients they use when you enter the shop. It's chock full of the best of the best quality snacks and drinks that I purchase from Whole Foods. For example, they sell quality GINGER ALE made by BRUCE COST (Harney & Sons brand). I have to admit, I give props to these owners for picking out the selections. They have great taste and it's apparent from what they sell. There is one other thing that's worth mentioning. The owners must have OCD. It makes the place a bit scary but in a good way. It's way, way, way too organized and clean and sometimes it makes me uncomfortable going inside because I feel that I'll mess up the organization of the products if I pick something out. EVERYTHING is lined up perfectly and organized including the forks (not a single fork in the pile is off-alignment nor the spoons) and I don't see a single stain mark on the floor, the tables, or anything for that matter. When you see behind the counter, it's as clean as the exterior. If Michelin inspectors came in to check this place out, I think it would have gotten an award for being the cleanest and most well organized office sandwich shop they ever inspected. In terms of the quality, I think they sell the best sandwiches (based only on my Reuben) in Maryland with the exception of the Italian Cold Cut Trio at Marchone's Italian Delicatessen in Silver Spring. The owners are very nice people (never saw them & the staff have a bad day yet) and their welcoming gestures and attitudes mitigates the uncomfy feelings that I sometimes get from the OCD environment (which again is not a bad thing). For all the things they are doing right, I most certainly feel they deserve a 5* review. I'm a fan!

On A Roll Deli sounds like exactly what it is: a solid place to stop by if you're in a rush on your way to work in a nearby building. It's located in the lobby of a corporate office, so it's a bit hidden, however. On A Roll Deli is packed with grab-and-go snacks, drinks, and meals of all types. They have your typical convenience store fare, as well as some interesting heath-conscious gems, such as vegetable chips, coconut water, and meal bars. They also provide a nice selection of baked goods--mainly muffins and scones--in the morning, which always taste delicious. Being a vegetarian, I am always pleased with the selection of snacks at On A Roll Deli. However, in terms of their actual deli sandwiches, there are really only two I can order: the mozzarella, basil, and tomato ciabatta sandwich, and a veggie wrap. The ciabatta sandwich is always excellent when I order it, as they make it fresh on the spot. The veggie wrap is your standard veggie wrap. Nothing really stands out. But still, really, almost $7 for a generic sandwich or wrap? Overall, On A Roll Deli serves its purpose for hungry office-goers in the area. I just wish they were a bit more veg-friendly with their deli items, as I'd love to see what else they have to offer.
