Olvin at the Rockville location is great!! He explained the menu and food in great detail and informed me of what foods mixed well with each other! My bowl was outstanding!

I came here for lunch since it's close by and new. Not impressed. My lunch was o.k, the meat tasted old and not warm but it tasted of Indian. The cost of my lunch was expensive considering what I got. I expected better.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I got the chili chicken bowl which included a very generous portion of chicken which was a pleasant surprise. I would’ve loved to have more of the mango, cucumber, and tomato in my bowl, but the flavor and low price more than made up for that.Only $12 for my bowl was a steal, in a different setting I could see these bowls selling for $20+Will definitely be back!

Tried RASA today (03-10-2024) for the first time. It was excellent. Flavorful. Not hot. Will visit again. Once a week perhaps.

Fantastic gluten-free options in premade bowls or make your own meal. Very good Americanized Indian food with just enough flavor to enjoy but not overpowering enough to overwhelm anyone’s taste buds.Rasa’s employees are outstanding, attentive, and knowledgable about rhe ingredients to assist with our ingredients concerns.

Being a South-Indian I seldom appreciate Indian fusion food. But this place exceeded my expectations by a lot! They have a really unique combination of flavors (in sauce/dressing) and a lot of bowl options to choose from. The ambience is cozy and welcoming with a touch of Indian culture. And it is moderately priced for the area. Definitely recommend eating here if you are around!

Visited for the first time the other day- cute interior, quick service, very flavorful dishes. You can build your own bowl or try a premade one. Tried the tamarind margarita- very sweet; wasn’t a fan, didn’t end up finishing my drink. The chicken tikka bowl and samosa side were good, super filling- a bowl alone would be enough for a meal. I love that the samosa side came with rice. You can tell the quality of course isn’t the same as if you went to a conventional sit down Indian restaurant, but it’s fast food after all- think Chipotle for Indian cuisine. I’d be back to try the other menu items.

First time today, came with 10 ppl. Solid ingredients, the spot for Desi fast casual in the area. Olvin the manager was patient, explained everything, provided excellent service. Better than Cava. Will be back.

We came in to break our fast with a large group, and the manager, Olvin was amazing. Our orders were perfect, they were very patient with the kids, and at the end Olvin treated us with some amazing vegan ice cream. The menu is well marked for dietary restrictions with a lot of vegan and gluten free options. Would absolutely recommend!

I wouldn’t recommend. Cava is next door and 10x better. No flavor. Indian food is supposed to have a lot of flavor but there wasn’t much there. The chickpeas were hard and undercooked. The sweet potato balls tasted terrible. I couldn’t replace anything and had to get something from each station even if I didn’t want to. I’ve never heard of such a rule at chipotle or cava. Customers should be able to replace.I went back and forth with the people working there for about 10 minutes about their sauce options. They weren’t good at explaining what was available and there was lots of confusion. It really was not necessary. The only thing that was nice was the restaurant and the lemonade tasted good. Besides that I would take your service and money elsewhere.

Olvin recommends a spectacular bowl! Rasa is the go-to lunch spot. An upgrade from routine Chipotle lunches for sure. Thanks Olvin!

I've been fortunate enough to have this catered to our office from vendors that come in. My coworker and I decided to venture out to the restaurant ourselves one day for lunch.Olvin was incredible with helping both of us order. Very detailed in his knowledge of the food. We were so impressed with how well he helped us and was able to describe the different options. We both found the food and service was top tier. We were able to get a brochure for our office which I passed off to my office manager who does all the ordering. We are sure to order this in the near future for our team! The price is amazing for the range of food you get and everything we got previously was all phenomenal.

It’s American food with Indian spices. Not spicy at all.
