I understand how it feels to have low expectations for food and then be pleasantly surprised by how good it is. I had a great experience with the pizza - the amount of cheese and sauce on it, along with the light and crunchy crust, must have been a real treat for my taste buds. Based on my recommendation, I would consider trying their pizza myself. And if you do end up trying their burgers or sandwiches in the future, please let me know how they are!

We live close by and always passing this place and finally got the chance to try. The young man who took our order was very helpful and brought our food to table which was so nice. Also I believe it was the owner who went out of his way to ask each patron including us how our food was. I felt like everyone there really cared about their food and their customers. We will definitely be back!

King Farm neighborhood pizza place, don't pay attention to the old negative comments - they're under new ownership! Pizza is great! The cheesesteak is great! The burger was way over cooked and the salad was nothing worth ordering, but hey, it's a pizza joint! What do you expect? Staff is helpful and the owner is a great guy, made sure our order was exactly what we wanted before walking out the door. They get really busy at 5:00 so keep that in mind when ordering (it's gonna take 45 minutes no matter what the desk guy says) but the pizza is worth waiting for! Delicious!

I've gotten takeout or delivery from Charlie's about 4 times within the last 3-4 months, and it has quickly become my new favorite pizza place. Every time I've gotten food here, I have thought that it either met or surpassed my expectations. My favorite thing about it is that the food actually feels "real," like something made from ingredients bought locally that day. I have no idea if this is really the case, but I think my body just feels better eating from this place than somewhere like Domino's (my old go-to).I also love their selection. The pizza is a bit pricey compared to fast food options, but I think it's worth it, and the prices of their non-pizza items are cheaper than you'd typically find around here.My only criricism would be that the delivery time can be slow, and they don't have any sort of tracker so you know when to expect the food to arrive. I don't think it's actually that slow. I'm just used to being able to track it, and I'm impatient when I'm hungry ?All in all, A+ food, and I love giving my money to a smaller place rather than a huge chain that probably underpays their workers.(Pictures are the veggie Sicilian pizza with pineapple added and the garlic knots. The knots came with marinara sauce but it was a bit hidden under the tin foil.)

my 1st time trying food from here because I tried 2 use a Groupon, unfortunately some how my account got frozen that moment, I assume because I got charged 5 times between credit, debit card and Gpay and got refunded 5 times same moment. my CC and debit. card got suspended by the bank, couldn't make a payment because "freaking" Groupon issue. They were closing and unfortunately I didn't even have enough cash that moment 2 cover my 2 subs so I got some spare cash from my car to cover at least 1 sub, but when I came back the guy behind the counter gave me both subs and told me "just give me what ever u have next time u'll make it up".wowwww!!! I didn't expect that.what a nice guy gesture and service.subs tasted really good by the way (not just because 1 was basically free ?)I'll definitely gonna comeback and maybe try their pizza, why not. I really recommend the place, not just for the food, because they really TAKE CARE OF THE COSTUMER.

Never knew or seen this place. It's located right off Rockville Pike. There's parking next to the building, which is convenient. Inside, it's cozy with several tables to sit. The employees were helpful and friendly. Ordered 2 16" pizzas, which were really good! Not too doughy or a lot of crust, which I like. There was plenty of cheese and toppings. They also have other items, such as saltenas, which I'd like to try there. The menu has a lot of items, if you don't want a pizza. Give them a try!

I ordered a couple of their Brooklyn calzones, which from the online pictures looked delicious. However, like many reviews before me, “stay away from the calzones because they look better than they taste.”The calzone was a classic with pepperoni and cheese. While there was a generous portion of cheese and pepperoni, the calzone was mostly tasteless. Oddly enough, the entire calzone seemed somehow devoid of any residual grease — inside or out — which I thought was peculiar. I was very disappointed and recommend that future customers stick to their normal pizza and subs and avoid the calzones.Vegetarian options: With pizzas, they have a large selection of other ingredients to replace any meat products. However, they do not have any vegan options.
Great service and the pizza was decent. But this is definitely nowhere near NY style pizza. I asked for it extra crispy. It's fairly thin and it was crispy by request. But the flavors and texture are nowhere near NY style. A different oven would do wonders.

This is my first time eating at Charlie's Pizza, and I have to say I wish I had found this place sooner. The pizza is fantastic, and the service is awesome! I bought an extra personal pie to take home and ended up eating half of it?Kid-friendliness: Since the dining area was not crowded the owner was nice enough to change the television and put on a Disney movie for my son to watch which is more than I could have expected or asked for and that was much appreciated.
