Waitress got our order wrong and then became nasty about us making her get it correct. Then overcharged on the bill. Unreal! Will never be back!

I had dined here once before, many years ago. I remember it being "ok" and over priced and nothing to bring me back there. But with their recent addition of dim sum getting a bit of buzz on social media, I figured I'd try it again. The place didn't look different despite many years since my previous visit. I asked them about their dim sum, so they gave me a paper listing of their dim sum options for me to fill out with my choices. They took the paper and punched in my order in their computer, gave me the total, I made payment and they told me 20 minutes. I went over to a grocery store in the same shopping center, and back to the restaurant at 20 minutes. My order wasn't ready and none of the staff seemed to be interested in giving me any attention. A couple of other patrons came in to pick up their orders. Nothing. After 30 minutes, I finally got a staff's attention to inquire, only to get "almost ready". One patron finally got her order (she was not happy with her wait) and i found out she ordered after me! After 35 minutes, I got my order. My parents were waiting at their apartment so I didn't double check just my order until I got to their place. I found that they missed inputting my turnip cakes but added bbq pork buns. The soup dumplings tasted fine, but weren't very hot. The popcorn chicken were greasy and room temperature. The Chinese broccoli were tasty and the only dish that was hot. The scallion pancakes were paper thin and not the many layers they should be (oh, and no scallions to be found). Even more odd, the eggplant in garlic sauce tasted like sweet & sour sauce with a slight kick. Try it for yourself, but for me, this was NOT worth the wait!

the place was busy, the servers were pleasant and the food was delicious. they do a big takeout business too! crab wontons-yummy! pad Thai was freshest I've had sashimi was very good we will be ordering from here and also will eat here again. our server was Flora-sweet and efficient!

We have been going to this restaurant for years. Recently, they added dim sum to their menu. The service was not the greatest. We had to ask for things several times. It was a little disappointing. We wanted to try their dim sum items along a few items from the menu. Some were a hit and some not so much. - scallion pancakes: this was a no-go. It was doughy and not crispy. - turnip cake: this was delicious and perfectly cooked. However, it was served with hoisin sauce. Never seen that before. - BBQ pork buns: delicious. - Fried taro, pork & shrimp dumplings: great flavors and perfectly fried. - steamed pork ribs: good but. Too oily. - panang chicken: good - crispy tofu: a definite no. I am not ready to give up on this restaurant yet.

3.20.24 Came with two friends to try their new dim sum menu. Unlike most dim sum restaurants, you can place individual orders by completing a menu. I prefer this option over restaurants that push carts that way the food is fresh and you are likely to get what you want. I say this because there was an item I wanted that wasn't available. I can see one issue with the new dim sum menu in that there may not be adequate surface on the table for all the food. It felt a bit crammed. I enjoyed almost everything we ordered. I tried Chicken Feet for the first time and didn't care for it. The only area for improvement is to hire more servers. There were not enough servers to keep up with the demand. Although our server did the best she could, she couldn't provide timely service to all patrons equally. This is an issue management would have to look into. Other than the slow service, I really enjoyed the dim sum and thought it was comparable to other good restaurants in the area.

Great sushi. Came for lunch and got. Great deal. My coworkers got the vegetable fried rice and salmon bento boxes which also looked and smelled delicious. Fast service is nice on a lunch break too.

You get what you pay for with Taipei Tokyo. Service is top tier when we order. We always get a large order to go with sushi and other dishes. So far nothing has been bad but we like the beef noodle soup and sushi the best. If you are in the area, you really can’t go wrong.

This place “Taipei-Tokyo” gave us Food Poisoning!!!! Be careful. Tables are dirty with a layer of grime. Looks like the tables were NEVER really cleaned well besides just a wipe down. They’re VERY Sticky. This was our first time here, and definently our last. I wish we left after touching that disgusting table. We have been Throwing Up, and Constantly going to the bathroom. Worst experience ever. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Be careful of this place. I paid to get poisoned
