Went in on a dull Wednesday at lunch time. Place is fairly empty. My salad was good enough I guess. The part that irked me is the lousy service. Had to tackle the bartender for his part. Had to tackle a waitress to place my salad order. Needed pepper (no condiments on table) so had to go to the bar to ask for it. I was in there two hours working on work-ie stuff. In that entire time, NO staff stopped while wandering by my table. "Would you like to place an order?" "How was your meal?" "Do you need anything else?" I guess credit goes to the kid who seemed to be delivering food and busing tables. He was paying a bit of attention. Just head scratching and not fun. No reason for this problem!

We were going to order more drinks but the waitress suddenly brought the checks and took our water glasses. We never asked for the check. Decided to go somewhere else for more drinks.

We came here today for some drinks before a 6:50 pm movie. The bartender was more interested in talking with her coworkers than providing appropriate service. She had to be told by a coworker to serve us after she saw us sit down at the bar. She saw us sit down, ignored us, and went to talk to some of her coworkers that came in (I am guessing they were off).To reiterate, the service was abysmal. This is the second we have come here and the second time we have received bad service. They were not even busy when we came in. The bartender was just not interested.

1st time visit and the employees were playing cards. We ordered a drink and felt like we didn’t even exist. Barely checked on us and our empty glasses. Food was ok, but their kitchen needs a new exhaust.I won’t be coming back.

Very disappointed in the habenro wings. Flavorful but with zero, zed, zilch, nada heat. They had Aventinus on tap though. And the single server for the entire dining space did a yeoman's job.

Went here today(Sunday) for brunch and my experience was so poor that I’m writing this just as I’m arriving home. I don’t leave reviews often, so when I do it is because a place is truly spectacular or insanely terrible. In this case it was the latter.Ambiance is fine, that of any sports bar, however the service and food was purely awful. I considered sending our food back, but I honestly did not see the server for such a long period of time after the food arrived, that my hunger got the best of me and I didn’t believe it would be right to return it at that point.I got the avocado toast and my friend got the brunch waffles. We were part of a large birthday group. The avo toast was so subpar, barely had any avocado on the bread, and the bread was smothered in butter (an odd choice for a vegetarian option -you’d think they’d ask first). When you pay for a basic item at a restaurant like avocado toast, you expect much more than the sad slice that was presented to me. I really wish I would have take a photo.As for the waffles, from the bottom of my heart, they were the worst waffles I have ever paid for at a restaurant. They tasted exactly like they were frozen originally, and microwaved before being brought out to the table. I would almost bet money that that is what happened in the back of that kitchen. They weren’t served with the whipped cream per the menu listing. To top it off, the “maple syrup”, also listed on the menu, was certainly not real maple syrup as advertised. It was cheap corn syrup. I’m still shocked that I didn’t have the courage to send it back, I basically only ate the fruit off of the top (extra $2).For the service, I had to ask on multiple occasions for a glass of water. The bill even came back incorrect, so I’m still waiting for it to appear on my statement to make sure that the edits that were made are such that I’m not over charged.All in all, horrible. I would never recommend. However someone at by table did like their steak and egg bowl, in case you are already at the restaurant and reading this…

Based on my experience, I can not recommend WoB. Our server got pulled to work the outside tables and left us with no service at an inside table. I ended up getting a different server to take care of the check so we could finally leave.We also ended up in a hurry to leave because something did not agree with us if you know what I mean. Safe food handling practices are far more important than the service. Won't be back.
