The return department runs "Store credit" scam. When you are returning something they will tell you that they can give you only store credit and will hand you a blank card with no money on it. Again, Do not take store credit from this location as they will give you a "store credit" card with no money on it. Also the return department casher was addressing me "Mister Z", a first later of my first name. I believe it's probably acceptable in some kindergartens located in a hood. But I don't think it's good way to address customers, when you don't even have to address customer by name, especially if you can't pronounce his last name.

Don't have a problem and need help. You are on your own. Going to Sam's or Costco. Work on your customer service it will make or break you.

Workers are ignorant and incompetent. The guy pushing 30 carts literally ran into us. Store is trashy and poorly ran. All the garbage reviews on this location do not even do it justice for how trash this place is.

I should have known better to go to this location. Had an online order placed and had a pickup time scheduled. Pull in and try to call to let them know what pickup spot I am in. You can not reach anyone for this by calling the club, so then had to go through the app. Do that and wait 20 minutes before even seeing an associate come out. The person walked around aimlessly and I saw he had my small amount of groceries on his cart. As I tried to get his attention he went back in with the groceries. Saw where they charged and said my groceries had been delivered even as that had not happened. I left and put in a dispute on the card. If you are a crap store such as Waldorf, that is reality. Don't even offer the same services as other clubs to make up for this. I would rather a company not even try than to offer a service they can not support.

I went to this BJ's in Waldorf on May 3rd, 2023. I went to the deli department to purchase items and it was dark. I'm standing there looking around when the lady that was handing out samples came up to me and said the deli department was at lunch, this was at 1:35 pm. I went to the front and asked an associate to speak with a manager about this. She called the manager on a walkie talkie and the manager said they would be open in approximately 15 minutes. (The manager didn't have the decency to address the question her self). This was so ridiculous, by now at 2:20 pm, the deli department still hadn't opened and people were milling around trying to figure out what was going on. Long story short, I got tired of waiting and left. This should not have happened!

The only reason I ever went to this location was its convenience. After my interaction with a staff member today, I'm 100% letting my membership expire and never coming back. Upon entering today (Tuesday 21 Feb. 2023), I noticed they had those alarm things at the entrance/exit that go off if you try to leave with an item without paying for them (I forget what these things are called) and figured they were no longer checking receipts. This is not true but that's on me. Upon leaving got flagged down by an employee to check my receipt because I had incorrectly assumed they were no longer doing so. Instead of simply just telling me they needed to check my receipt this employee proceeded to rip my receipt outta my hand and proceed to talk down to me like I'm a child who doesn't know better in saying "don't EVER do that again". If I hadn't just been talked down to in such a way after having my receipt being ripped outta my hands, I'd be more than happy to have a conversation with this employee. Speaking to customers in such a way is unacceptable and is 100% not the way to talk to people. I will certainly never be coming back to this location or to BJ's as a whole

I just left your Waldorf store. Not having a cashier there to check people out is one way to say to a handicap customer you are not welcome nurse store. Giving the customer the excuse somebody called out is not acceptable

prices too for me and not too many same products to compare to another words 3 of the same item but from different companies....not a good selection of animal food....no prices in some products in meat department or freezer section. fruit and veggies section watch what you pick up for mold..

If you get their credit card and use it for gas, you always get 10 cents off their already lower prices and every once in awhile you get more off for buying certain things. We just got 40 cents off twice in a row, have no idea why.

Rude customer service... Did not help with my problem... I hope the management step up... the lost will be massive if this keeps up... unopened box of vacuum to give you hard time returning it... Renewal of the membership did not help with the discount with coupon on hand...

The people that work their are very nice and informed. Also I had collapsed and hit my head at the store and they called my wife and a ambulance and made sure I got taken care of. Kudos to all as I don’t know specifically who helped me.

So the Lysol and wipes is only one per customer I saw them tell a African American woman only one but allowed this Caucasian women get more than one! Oh and yes they saw cause the ladies at the desk had to keep walking over to help her!!! I didn’t go for essentials I went for Gatorade.

Customer service . Phil the GM, I am still awaiting a simple reply/acknowledgment to my emails. After three emails from a long time customer, you'd think you'd take the time to respond....OR why act like you even care??!!!

I went to BJ's a few months ago to renew my membership and to take a few people off of my account. I did the above and went back to the store to buy some gas and my account was closed. I went inside to customer service and was told that my account was closed and a refund was issued. I stayed calm and asked who closed my account. I was told that one of the two peolpe that I asked to be removed closed it and received a gift card in the account of the renewal fee. I called the Corp office and was told it is nothing that they can do. Why is that? Becareful dealing with BJ's. It amazes me that a person that you dropped from your account can come into the store and cancel your membership and on top of that get a refund of the money that you paid to renew it. I will NEVER go there again and hope that the nezt person that do business with them read this warning before you open an account.
