So, I was on my trip to Washington Memorial, and after we finished, it was around 4-5 Sunday. So we decided to go to Blue Pearl Buffet, and it was a bad, easy way to phrase this. It was 15 people, the line was big, like 4-5 groups in front of us, 20-30 minutes just to enter. The food was bad, the dishes were not clean, and the food did not have any taste. The atmosphere was bad. The place was overcrowded, with no space between tables. Service was absent, I mean, there was no care from them just a little bit. So don't recommend it.

The food is relatively good, but the way the annoying waitress directly asks for a tip feels unprofessional and so boring. I have never experienced this before in my entire life. Tipping should be based on service, and customers should decide the amount without being disturbingly prompted at the table. The manager of the restaurant should address this unprofessional issue with the waitstaff to ensure a more comfortable dining experience for customers, please. Some of the waitresses are so annoying. They pretend to be so humble in the beginning, but they are not. So disappointing.

I noticed there has a lot of bad review for tip.Last week I went there and I did not give any tip at front desk (with credit card).I left tips(cash) on the table after I finished lunch.Foods are hot and good.Tables are clean.Staffs are also not bad as mentioned previous comments.I have a good time at there.But don't forget to give tip after you eating ?.So everything will be fine.

Some food items were mediocre but it was overall pretty good. The service was great with clean areas to eat and very nice servers. I would definitely recommend this place for people who are looking for a wider range of cuisines even though it is a chinese buffet, most items at the buffet aren’t of the chinese cuisine. 4.5/5

The food was really good for buffet style. The buffet area was clean and well kept and adhered to food safety. Service was very good, and the server anticipated needs well. Crawfish were huge, noodles not soggy, and decent variety. The only issue was egg drop soup had a metallic taste. The price was exceptional for Silver Spring 15$ Will Return often

Make sure you bring cash for a tip or put it on your card payment. This one lady working the table will say something to you. If you get up and don’t leave nothing. She will even try and walk with you to find your card payment to see if you did really leave a tip for them.Kid-friendliness: They have most kids favorite foods

Then the waitress asked how was our food and I was honest and told her we did not have a great experience and still demanded tip. Do not go to this buffet. I been looking for a Asian style buffet so I could take my grandson. I found this place thinking that it was a good option, but I'm so disappointed. We arrive at 9 pm and they close at 10. But by 9.20 everyone starts to rush us. First s guy mopping the floor while we are eating, and using a air dryer so the dinner becomes a very unpleasant experience. Waitresses rushing to serve the last drinks. Reaching over people at the table. No manners what so ever. Very poor service. Awful attitude and perhaps the rudest service ever.Not to mention that the food was just ok. I told the soup guy that it was too salty, and he just look at me like saying, so?By the time we decided to leave all the waitresses rush into our table demanding a tip. It was very rude of them and disappointing. One of them even poking on my wife's arm to demand a tip. I work in the same industry and I always tip. But this was an exception. A family dinner turned into a very unpleasant experience. I won't recommend to my worse enemy. Bad, really poor and unprofessional.
