I think that if they charge more for pupusas they should make them the same size as before. But now they are more expensive and smaller. It's a shame.

This is a convenient place to get a good , full meal. The place doesn't look like much, but the food from the steam tables is consistently good. I usually go for sopa de res (beef short rib and vegetable soup ) , and then a plate of either carne guisada (beef stew) and rice and plantains, or albondigas (delicious meatballs simmered in a gravy of onions and peppers and tomato). Some days there is braised beef tongue, and it's delicious. There are good tamales here, the big Salvadoran kind filled with hen , potatoes, green beans and masa, wrapped in banana leaf. Occasionally they have chuchitos (tamal with pork rib and red sauce inside). They sell out fast and understandably so. They have shelves full of baked goods , but I haven't tried them yet.

Chicken tasted horrible. Refried beans out a can. Rice was tasteless. Low effort, poor nutritional value, presentation was also poor.Chicken Loco is not Pollo Loco.

Today i saw day light robbery with a male spanish cashier who had a very bad attitude towards me. He overchaged me on fries. I tried even showing him previous receipts of the same fries i have been buying and he seemed not to understand anything. He just murmured in spanish. Mind you the prices on screen were shut off. The screens were not working. I have just disliked my favorite place to go to anytime with this day light robbery. The management should consider hiring an english speaker cos not everybody understands spanish. This is so PATHETIC

The place have change volver the years! Sometimes change is good and sometimes change are bad. I have always liked the pupusas! But there are times when the pupusas are not right!
