4 THUMBS UP! I contacted CC for custom cake - from a drawing I did. They matched it 100%!Upon pickup the displays of cakes they have shows the unlimited potential of what they can create. Ms Randy was very helpful throughout the entire design process. All the way down to the taste of the dye.Which I did get a bunch of feedback from-the darker the color the more the taste will vary. I was fine with that but the inside of the cake is mouth watering!Only downside is not being able to purchase via secure link/Presentation ⭐️See my sketches and the final product! I can’t wait to use this service again

Highly highly recommend Randy & her team at Creative Cakes! They created an absolutely gorgeous & delicious cake for my daughter’s graduation party. Our family has been in the food business and has had many professional cakes made for us in the Philadelphia area but this cake was the best of Any I have tasted. And the design was incredibly beautiful and all parts were delicious. It was delivered and Randy even instructed us on how to freeze the leftover. Will definitely use Creative Cakes in the future. They really knocked it out of the park.

I am a very satisfied customer. I requested a special birthday cake for my wife with the unusual theme of “coastal marine sanctuary” and Creative Cakes delivered. The cake was gorgeous with a pretty shoreline, a beautiful 3-D coral reef, whale fins, a creative sunken ship, and crabs made of fondant that were perfectly realistic. And of course, it tasted delicious too. My wife was overjoyed, and loved showing it off to her friends. We have tried other pastry shops in the Baltimore area, but it's worthwhile to make the drive and have Randi and her staff create for your upcoming event. Just incredible what these artists can do!!

I got a cake and some other assorted desserts at Creative Cakes for the first time (for a graduation party). Everything was beautiful and delicious. The owner was extremely helpful, and although I'd never had a dessert from here, she guided me through the process. In fact, I met a couple other staff members who were kind and helpful. One thing you should know, I was told this is the premier cake company in the NoVa-MoCo area. It did not disappoint. The decorative artwork was worth the price and the cake and desserts (cookies, cupcakes, and other pastries) are incomparable to desserts from typical bakeries. The shop gorgeously designed the cake using my ideas and the finished product was shockingly fantastic. I would return here for any important family event. Highly recommended. It's worth every penny!
Dealing with the staff was a long series of micro aggressions. I'm a pretty nice guy and overall used to micro aggressions, so I paid it no mind. I paid $150 for a cake the size of a cupcake. Given the outrageous price, I thought scheduling a tasting was only natural. I may have been alone in this sentiment, because the young lady I was speaking to seem to be under the impression that $150 spent should maintain some element of surprise. After awhile she did agree, reluctantly to schedule a to-go tasting for the coming Saturday, at 2 pm. When I arrived, no one was there, and apparently it was my fault that there was no tasting on the books.Here's the kicker. The cake was only about $65 (being generous here) cute, and about $15 in size. And it was gross. Their coconut pineapple "filling" was lost to sugar, sugar, and more sugar. Think Walmart taste and target decor. I am afraid to tell the birthday boy how much money I was cheated out of. I guess on some level I'm trying to avoid putting a sour taste in his mouth, only in this case is the cakes sweetness preferred, although unbearable, gritty, and ultimately majorly disappointing.Please don't waste your money here.

Partnering with the Creative Cakes team was a wonderful experience! From my first inquiry asking if they were able to *create* a strawberry looking cake for a particular 3 year old, the team was informative, knowledgeable and kind. Placing the order was easy, they created exactly what we wanted and to top it all off - it was DELICIOUS. This strawberry cake was our first celebration cake from Creative Cakes but certainly not our last (though it may not be a strawberry next time!)

I asked Creative Cakes to create an awesome cake for my niece's baby shower with the theme of Jungle animals. I gave them a copy of the invitation with all the baby jungle animals as a reference. The cake produced by their artists was absolutely outstanding, taking all of my suggestions as a starting point and making it so much better. The best part was the 3D giraffe lounging on top of the cake with an adorable expression on its face. All of the guests oohed and aahed over the cake. But then, how does the cake taste? The cake was so moist and flavorful, with delicious icing. When you want an amazing cake, go to Creative Cakes!
