I must confess it took me awhile to try it because of the low average and people talking about how awful the pizza was... but anytime I see ratings generally split between 1's and 5's, I figure there might be an attack of the Karens or the "I only eat one kind of pizza" snob and I should give the place a try. So last night hubs and I came in for dinner, and we quite enjoyed ourselves and the pizza. The pizza is neither thin crust nor thick crust, it's somewhere in the middle, but it was a good fresh crust. Typical MD rectangular cut. The critique someone else gave that it absorbs the sauce may have some truth to it; we asked for extra sauce, and I'm not sure if they forgot that or if the crust did in fact absorb it all, but it wasn't super saucy. Besides that, it was actually quite a good pizza. The sauce I could taste seemed like a fresh tomato sauce rather than a tomato paste based; neither super sweet nor super tangy or spicy. The italian sausage was the star topping; they use a great quality italian sausage, not breakfast sausage and not pathetic little crumbles but hearty chunks of fennel-ly goodness. The pepperoni, onions, black olives were all as expected and there was just enough grease on the pizza to give it a good flavor despite being a bit weak on the sauce. We also ordered onion rings; these were decent, but not earth shattering. We'd been particularly craving them but it's probably not something we'd order every time. Usually we get a Caesar with our pizza but we'd walked about 5.5 miles that day and were feeling naughty. We'll try the Caesar next time. They have 25% off pizza special on Mondays, so I may be here for lunch since it's a bit closer to home than my usual Monday & Tuesday discounted pizza joint. We will probably also be back for dinner & date night because they have a lot of cocktails that got my husband excited. The cocktail menu is very heavy on whiskey which I don't care for so I can be designated driver. The staff was very friendly, and they are clearly all buds because one of the ladies sitting in front of the bar laughing with a party apparently actually works there but was drinking on her night off. The place had a very much "neighborhood bar" kind of feel where there was a crowd all joking around together. They played mostly music I like, although we were sad that someone apparently doesn't like Rush because they switched it about 30 seconds into Tom Sawyer. There isn't a sign telling you to seat yourself, but that's what you're supposed to do. It's very casual. I look forward to trying some of the other Italian dishes as we haven't found a go-to pasta place yet nearby.

I ordered food and they sent an email for delivery. No phone call they cancel delivery because they don’t have one item. Very rude when I called back. Never again for this place

I want to like and support my neighborhood pizza spot but it's been hard. The pizza is sub par...the crust is this think whole wheat dough that seems to absorb the sauce and doesn't allow for the toppings to stay hot. The place is grungy and the food seems mostly manufactured and not homemade like they offer in print. $35 for 2 medium pizzas! One was ordered w/ red onions and it's like they piled them on and they were RAW and not cooked! I expected cooked, not microwaved red onions. I'm from New York so this pizza is pretty bad.

Alright... the ONLY problem I have with this place so far is they don't season their burgers, at-effing-all. Good, quality beef... never frozen. Real, hand-formed, on the spot, made to order style & it's solid. I added some salt & pepper to my burger when it came out & it changed the game. Service, awesome. Prices, even more f****** awesome. Servings, generous.

Used to be a great place - we would order almost every week. But quality has been going down consistently during 2022, all while the prices were going up. To a point where pizza is just horrible. Save your money - Pizza Hut down the road offers similar quality for half the price.

I grew up in the area, but havent been rhere in over a year. The staff and service was good, but 4be pizza recipe definitely changed for the worse since i was last there. It's much thicker, breadier now. The crust of the old pizza was thinner and had a great chew to it. No more. My vite is to go back to the old formula.

Absolutely love this place! Had a great meatball sub but their pizza was so amazing. I'm addicted and want more as we speak. Try this place if your nearby in this neighborhood of colesville MD off of New Hampshire Ave!

We were traveling south from Florida north back home to Pennsylvania and we were missing good Italian pasta. This was a great stop! Great food. Very much enjoyed the bruschetta! Very friendly people!

Jocelyn, Juana, john and sherryanne did an amazing job making me feel at home. My wife and i will definitely be returning back soon. Great family feel and the food was off the chain. 5 star ⭐️ is a must

This place is exactly what you hope it might be when you walk in. They are clearly a local pub with all the regular bar patrons saying hello and catching up. Then the staff welcomes the new folks like old friends. (And they make sure to say goodbye and thank you on the way out) The decor is perfect, the music is great, and the food is excellent. The first time we visited we ordered pizza, a larger size was accidentally brought with no up charge which resulted in delicious leftovers for two days after. Every time we went we ordered the bruschetta to start and each time it was fantastic. The second time I got the steak and cheese based on the recommendation and it was amazing! And the last time we landed on the burger special day and that was excellent. If you need a good hang out, a new place to eat, a place to make friends, or if you’re just visiting like we were you should check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

If you're looking for a small, neighborhood Sports Bar that has plenty of TVs sufficient seating and actually a very good menu with items including breakfast - this may just be the place for you. I stopped in today and had a wonderful small pizza with pineapple. They piled the pineapple on, and it was nice and sweet. Crust was good cheese was good sauce was good it was about as good as I could ask. Was also way more than I could eat even though it was a small pizza. That's got to tell you something. Waitress was nice and checked on us several times. Again, for a small neighborhood sports bar there aren't going to be too many that are better than this definitely two thumbs up worth a trip one last thing - it wasn't that expensive which is always a big plus!

I tried the pizza here and it was horrible.Overcooked, hard crust, dough had not been given chance to rise at all was like eating a cracker, small portion, little sauce, overpriced. The service is good, the atmosphere friendly, and I would go back for drinks to enjoy the people, but will not eat there again.

Pizza is always inconsistent, sometimes perfect, sometimes dough is so thick and chewy you can't eat. Usually bad at lunch when Ron isn't there

The service is good, the atmosphere friendly, and the place has a charm to it like a neighborhood dive from 20 years ago. However, the pizza is disgusting. Overcooked, hard crust, small portion, little sauce, overpriced. Would go back for drinks to enjoy the people, but will not eat there again.
