We sat at the bar since it was a nice sunny day and we wanted to be close to the outside area. We ordered Thea pitcher of lavender margarita, pollo coca- cola, croquettes, shrimp enchiladas, and king fish steak. The food came out pretty quickly. Everything was nice and hot when it came out however I didn’t think through king fish steak had much flavor. The croquettes were okay. The best items were the margaritas, and the shrimp in the enchiladas. We were expecting tortillas with the enchiladas but there weren’t any. Overall I would say this is a great place to stop for drinks but I wouldn’t plan on dining here again.

The service was great, and I appreciate the effort put into it. As for the food, I think it has room for improvement. I would rate it as average, about 3.5 out of 5. We ordered the Hierra Rosemary Garlic Fish with rice, and while it was editable, it had an extra amount of rosemary, making the fish slightly bitter and making it overpowering, there was also too much garlic for the size fish. Although the food was presented in a skillet, it wasn't prepared in it. My friend ordered the barbecue chicken dish, which tasted good, but it had an overkill of onions in the presentation. For appetizers, we had the Saltfish fritters, which were okay, but they seemed like they were not made in-house. Overall, I think the food has potential, and with some minor adjustments, it could be great. I can't add a half star

Very good service, it's a shame the old clothes had a burnt taste and were very sweet, but the drinks and service were excellent.

Very nice and trendy Cuban spot in Silver Spring! Happy hour deals are great, if you have a group I definitely recommend getting the Cuban Street Food Sampler, so that you can get a good variety of finger food! The Sampler comes with Empanadas, Pollo Coca-Cola, Salted Cod Croquettes, Pan Con Lechon, Fried Yuca, Tostones, and their Cuban Sandwiches. My favorite of the bunch has to be the Cuban Sandwiches, which had tasty bread with delicious meat filling, the Fried Yuca which came coated in super tasty fried garlic, and the Pan Con Lechon which was pork that literally melted in your mouth! We also had the Hibiscus Sangria cocktails for happy hour, which were alright in my opinion.

Free the frogs!! The food was delicious but they keep two frogs in a tiny tank in at the host stand. Made me extremely uncomfortable and I was thinking about those poor frogs the whole meal. They need a bigger tank for sure, and with the prices this place charges I have no doubt the can afford it.

We were completely dissatisfied with this restaurant. Upon arriving, we were given water in dirty cups. All three cups were soiled with something. We told the server that we are vegetarian, and asked if certain dishes were suitable for us. He said yes, but it turned out that the dishes had seafood in them. Big mistake on his part. Two of us had a seafood allergy! He also made two other mistakes with our orders. He gave us a dish we didn't ask for, and forgot another of our dishes. The food was subpar. We were not impressed. Being from Cuba, this is not authentic at all. I could not recognize the flavors of my native foods. The ambience also was not representative of Cuban culture, but instead of Miami culture. Even so, it was an unpleasant over-exaggerated version of Miami. One other lovely thing I forgot to mention was that there was a tray of empanadas on the bathroom sink. I don't know why they were sitting there, but that is totally unsanitary to eat. Last, but not least: 20% tip is already included so don't let them scam you into a larger tip!

The restaurant is pretty and has a great ambiance but it's all it had going for it. I ordered the mojito mocktail and my friend ordered the coconut lemonade. We both didn't like our drinks. Mine was sort of watery and hers was way too sweet. They didn't have the sandwiches me and my friend came for so we both settled for Cuban sandwiches. After eating half the sandwich I was immediately nauseous. Service wasn't good. We were there for over an hour and no one ever came to fill my water and we were barely checked on. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. Regardless of the bad service we were involuntarily charged a 20% tip. I agree that servers should get paid a 20%+ tip but it felt as if the servers didn't try because they knew they would get that tip regardless. Never returning to this place.

Have the pork! I look forward to another Cuban sandwich with roast pork, delicious. I've been here about 3 times and it's always delicious. The fried plantains are about the best we've had. The ropa vieja was a little disappointing. Substitute the fries for a good chopped tomato salad. A friend and I were unfortunately the only patrons at lunch but it was in the wintertime. It's an old garage with roll up doors and windows and would be a wonderful place in the summertime with mojitos.

What a great place for Latin food and vibes!!! Everything from apps, drinks, entrees to deserts tasted great. Their shrimp ceviche with passion fruit was the best I’ve ever had. Desserts are to die for, I recommend to try flan and coconut vegan ice cream. All drinks were made with fresh squeezed juices and their wine options are very good. The vibe overall is very very cute. Lots of space, windows and the decor is very instagramable. The service was very attentive and friendly, on the other hand. I liked this place a lot and will definitely be back soon!
