I saw the great reviews so I passed by to try it, and it didn't disappoint! I got the Combo over rice platter with some salad. The portions were generous for $11.99 INCLUDING a drink. If you don't like spicy stuff definitely stay away from the hot sauce! The truck is easy to find, and I highly recommend it!

Halal Brothers is one of the best hidden gems in Silver Spring! I always get the delicious chicken over rice. The chicken is always ultra fresh and perfectly cooked, portions are large, the white sauce and spicy sauces are incredible, it's balanced with the perfect amount of rice and greens, the price is low cost, and the owners are very friendly and kind. Highly recommend to all!

I saw a woman eating food in her car while on my walk and asked her where did she get it and she told me this place. It was my first visit but not my last. The food was absolutely amazing. The customer service. Wonderful I had a falafel platter. It was delicious, flavorful, and the portion size was more than enough.

Expected to be blown away based on reviews, but ended up with a lackluster experience. I ordered the Chicken + Falafel platter, which came jam packed with a significant number of ingredients, so I assumed it would be bursting with flavor. It was not. While the plating appeared tantalizing, I found the rice to be vibrant in color but bland in taste. Similarly, the chicken - which appeared beautifully charred and grilled, tasted like it was lacking a few needed punches of salt - something to add the zest I'd expected based on reviews. Service was quick, and food was prepared hot, but I found it be lacking in the flavor I'd expect when ordering a plate of Chicken + Falafel platter. I guess I'll have to stick with my PG County faves.

I drove 1 hour from Virginia to Maryland to eat halal burger. The meat was not well done. It had very bad meat smell. The burger bun was not fresh either. I liked their fries only. Overall okay. But they can do better. Staffs were not friendly either.

I see that my experience is probably a minority experience here, but I will say it anyways. The young man who was working the truck was very nice, but the food I got was a bit lacking in flavor and tasted like it had been out for a while, even though I literally ate it as soon as I crossed the street. Not my favorite halal food experience, but for a $12ish falafel over rice in the DC area, I suppose I probably got the quality I paid for.I can also imagine it didn't help that I visited the place fairly late, so they might be better during peak hours (especially looking at the other comments)

The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful, and the rice was fluffy and well-seasoned.
