Great place to eat. There wasn't a person at the hostess stand so we looked around the corner and someone spotted us and came over to sit us down, less than a five minute wait. Super attentive, lovely decorations. Food was delicious. Plenty of options for spicy food lovers.

The ambiance was very nice loved that they were playing gospel music. The food is 10/10 definitely had the most authenticity than a lot of thee restaurants. Definitely will be a returning customer.
The egusi was rich and the pounded yam was the perfect consistency. The fish was excellent too. Service was great… and fast. Will return!

My daughter's birthday was a plus with the services, food ,atmosphere etc.My native Jollof was delicious and I enjoyed it to the very last grain. The waitresses were very polite especially Charity who was our main waitress she was amazing, but they need to work on salt. Overall it was a great experience.

The receptionist was annoying. Like if you don't like your job, quit!!Food wait time was not bad I waited about 15 minutes I think.Food taste was average, the puff puff are the best, the plantains were not ripe the taste tells it all, the jeloof rice was trash taste like prison food no veggies or whatever just plain.Asked for a coke and u give me a can in dine in ? I mean get me a glass or smthx. The backed chicken had no taste and too dry, man that's like a waste of moneyPrices too are too high thoI'll try to eat here one more time

I must say that before entering Jollof Etcetera in Silver Spring, I had a little bit of doubt as to how good a meal they would have because the outside of the restaurant isn’t as charming, but believe you me, it is an amazing site once you get inside. The restaurant feels & looks really great. I enjoyed the decors & just everything about it. The food was an added bonus because the food was so on point. I had the jollof combo w/baked chicken & got fisherman soup w/pounded yam, & also suya & moi moi to go. My server Funke, was a delight, she offered me free puff-puff (donuts for non-Nigerians) ? since it was my birthday & even went the extra mile to sing me a birthday song. For the duration of my time at the restaurant, she provided exceptional services & made sure I was comfortable. Another staff who provided excellent service was Chiamaka who brought my food to me. I enjoyed my conversation with both staff & also the restaurant owner Mr. Obi. Everything about my experience at this restaurant was very exceptional, & I must add that they do an amazing job cleaning because this restaurant was very clean. If you’re looking for great Nigerian dishes, I would encourage you to check out Jollof Etcetera in Silver Spring, MD. You won’t be disappointed with your visit or your meal. Very satisfied customer right here ??
