Pro: clean environment, worker speak English & Spanish, inside mini store for food. Con: small parking lot, certain food. This bakery is run by Hispanic personal so don't come in thinking it french based. We place an order for a cake for a party and it turn out pretty well. The parking area is small in the front but there are some parking area in the back. They do have an area in the store where you can order some tacos, tamales, pupusas, and more. While waiting for the cake we decide to get cinnamon churros and it was kind of disappointing. It was kind of bland and dry like it was sitting on the display case to long. The flavor tasted like it only had a hint cinnamon. All in all a place ok for a first time visit but I wouldn't come back again.

I have ordered so many cakes from here because their flavors are just unmatched!! I've made the mistake of going with a bakery who has charged me hundreds for a cake that looks... amazing but the flavor has been horrendous. You can purchase some from display but my recommendation would be to call ahead before your event so that your cake is made fresh to order. I will say though... I haven't bought the sweet bread they have on display. Only because I make my own at home. I would only recommend this place for their cakes as that's all I've ever had from here. They speak Spanish, and English, and have always tried to accommodate to the cake decorations.

My mother ordered a cake on June 10th to be ready for today at 8:00 am. When she arrived , she asked for the cake and they simply gave her the answer that it's not ready. She was asking why and their answer was simply that the man who makes the cakes wasn't here. She was upset and asked if she could just get a refund . They said no and that she would have to come back until 2 pm because their manager would be here at 2:00 pm. I was very upset about the situation my mom went through and came at 9 am. I spoke to the lady at the front and she told me her manager was already here. So I was even more upset about them lying saying he wouldn't be here until 2 pm. I was able to speak to the manager and he would give me excuse after excuse and I told him I understood the excuse but they didn't even bother calling my mother. She left them her phone number a week ago. Not one call. I demanded him to give her the $118.00 they gladly took when they placed the order. He was making many excuses and finally said he would give it to me. He requested the whole card information again which I was highly suspicious of. Somehow I got myself into some marranitas - Mexican pig-shaped ginger bread from La Baguette. I got one shaped like a little piggy and one square. They were a little dense and dry, but flavorful and fun. If you're ever in Silver Spring and have a craving for marranitas, try this place out
