Tried New Kam Fong for the first time last night. We were impressed. Portion sizes are large. We ordered beef and snow peas, chicken and broccoli, shrimp with scrambled egg and rice, lemon chicken, salt and pepper fish, meat dumplings, lo mein, wontons in chili oil, and hot and sour soup. Everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed the shrimp and scrambled egg over rice. The dumplings were large and full of tasty filling. The soup is a large multi person portion. The fish and chicken were fried nicely. The wontons in chili oil were good but I was expecting pork and they were shrimp. So that was a little disappointing. The only thing I probably wouldn't reorder was the lo mein. It was average. They are only doing take out right now. Call or order online in advance. Parking is limited, but easy enough to get street parking.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years, and the this is one of the last restaurants i Wheaton that serves authentic Cantonese cuisine. They also have roast pork, Chinese bbq pork, and most importantly Roast Duck! The food is great here, and I would recommend trying out their Salted Fish and chicken eggplant casserole and this one other dish that has egg tofu with a variety of mixed vegetables. At the moment with COVID, orders must be called in and no one is allowed inside the dining room. THere's a small table outside for pick up, and you have to call to let them know you're there. Overall, a very highly recommended place to dine.

Flavorful and authentic Chinese/Cantonese food. This will be my go-to Chinese restaurant now. Much better than Full Key across from it. The lady who answered my phone was very patient explaining to me what each dish was. I ordered roast duck- very juicy and tasty; clam in black bean sauce- tasty but with some deposits; sautéed string beans; garlic sauce eggplant; flounder fillets with chive flower; egg tofu with shrimp and mushroom. Please keep up the great taste, decent quality, and good service. A caveat, parking could be a problem.

This is my family's go to for Chinese food for years, and when I say years I mean we've been going her for 14+ years. I just never knew the name of it until now The employees are so nice and genuinely care for you. At one point I was taking a Chinese 101 class at Montgomery college and the employees took their time to help me with my projects. We always order baby clams in black bean sauce, lobster, razor clams, stir fried snow pea leafs, flounder fish fillet with bean curd in casserole(we always ask for extra fish!!), and beef with broccoli. The food always come out fresh and some dishes are still bubbling when it arrives. All of the dishes are good, but If you like fish I HAVE to recommend the flounder fish casserole, we always order with extra fish because as most siblings we argue over who gets more of it. I've never seen a dessert menu but there is a rotating dessert, my favorites are mo mo cha cha and bai tang gau. They also sell pinapple buns, roast pork buns, and bai tang gau near the back.

I ordered take out and I got General Tso's Chicken. The pieces were massive and I could tell the pieces were made with fresh chicken. It was delicious!

Where have you been hiding New Cam Fong?!?! We work on the I-270 corridor where there are dozens of top-notch Chinese food restaurants - but we live in the Glenmont area and have been working from home for more than half a year now. We've been trying Chinese food restaurants all over the Wheaton / Glenmont / Silver Spring / New Hampshire Ave. / Outside the Beltway area for years trying to find something that's not just "passable" but really GOOD.Ordering online for pickup at New Cam Fong was easy and fast. Ordered a smorgasbord of food and could not have been happier:1. Steamed and Pan Fried Meat Dumplings - only four to each order, but they are ginormous and the dipping sauce is delicious.2. Vegetable Spring Rolls - small but delightfully crispy happiness.3. Egg Drop Soup - best we've had. Their soups are pricy - but what they don't say online is that it's a LARGE soup container.4. Wonton Soup - best we've had. Same large size as the Egg Drop soup - and packed with large wontons.5. Sesame Chicken - best we've had. Not fried to a dry ball of crunch - but solid juicy chicken in a succulent sauce with broccoli. 6. Moo Shu Pork - so damned good, I heated some up in a bowl the next morning and put a fried egg on top. This is now our go-to Chinese Food Restaurant.

Chicken wings aren't chicken wings i believe they are chicken thighs cut in half. The pork in the fried rice was old, freshly cooked pork should not be gray in color. Barely edible to the point where half the order of wontons had no filling simply a scorched wrapper.

I really enjoyed their food. I always get awesome customer service here. The place is well organised and the employees are always very friendly. Will come visit again.

This place is my toddler's favorite Chinese restaurant. I think it's the first restaurant we ever took her as a baby; as a toddler, I have never seen her go so crazy for tofu before. My dishes that I use as my standard to compare Chinese restaurants are Hunan chicken and tofu with mixed vegetables and this place passes the tests with flying colors. Large dishes are around $13/each and are big enough to last for multiple meals.

I am giving a "0" on customer service. Since we're visiting the area, I called in to place my order (I could sense the woman was very impatient) & when we arrive less then 10 minutes later to pickup, I called & the woman was fussing over the phone that we weren't there when she came out. After she took my $20 for a $18.95 order, she took the money & walked right into the restaurant & I didn't even have time to ask for some plasticware. When she came back out for another customer, I asked for them & she came back out with a set & I told her I needed 2 sets. She told me they don't have any more & handed me a dollar (my change) & said "I'm giving you back your change, get out & leave now! I'm very busy!" Wow... that was rude, SO RUDE! There were only 2 cars out in the parking lot. I can tell you that's be our first & last time to patronize this restaurant.
