I went there yesterday after a friend convinced me to go ( I had earlier vowed not to return there because of the rude hostesses). We had sat down and bought drinks and hookah, and a particular very rude hostess came to tell us that the table was sold. just as we were trying to carry our stuff they snatched them away and took them to the kitchen saying we were being slow (we had barely touched the items). On top of that this rude hostess kept disrespecting us with words and hand gestures and general attitude! I would never return there even if they were the last place on earth! They treat people like thrash just because they have people in line waiting to pay to get in! DONT GO THERE!!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY!

This is one of my favorite local places in the summer. It's casual, great food, great Afrobeats, reggae, and hip hop spot. Sunday Day party's are the best.

And I managed to stumble upon this place. And I had me a good little time. In the words of the seniors. We will be back. The owner was very nice. Great variety in music for me :-).

A cool vibe but the drink and hookah prices are outrageous. 1 drink should not be $20 ($17 drink + $3 gratuity already included) in downtown SS. Not to mention, if you pay at the bar with cash you would never know they add gratuity to everything because they don't mention it and the bartenders don't give you a receipt which will basically leave you tipping twice. Food is good and vibe is decent but not enough to justify the drink prices

Best new bar in Silver Spring. The cocktails are awesome, giving Jackie's Sidebar a run for its money, plus it is a rooftop bar so the view is awesome. They even have a couple of tvs and a projector.
