I would rate 0 stars if I could. I Found a hair in my soup and the worker yelled at us and kicked us out the restaurant. I asked her to simply remake the soup but she refused and told us to leave the restaurant.

The bad reviews really seem like fluke experiences people had. we've had 0 major issues. Just remember to wait to be seated. My small nitpicks are at the end. Solid 3.75 stars. Don't let the negative comments fool you, this place is nice. It's a good simple place for dinner. Service is prompt and attentive and the Pho an Bahn Mi are tasty as are the starters. We recommend the pork and Beef bahn mi and the Fish cake (which is kind of like a patty of sorts. It's hard to describe but tasty) and any seasonal roll. The meat on our bahn Mis on Friday was perfect, and I loved the slightly smoky flavor. The Winter Roll appetizer needed a little punch of something inside, but the sauces all helped (you get sriracha, a "seasoning sauce" that's basically soy sauce, and another at the table). It was still really nice. When we came a few months ago, we loved the Pho as well. My little nitpick across the two visits is that sometimes the service dips a smidge in promptness. It's still very attentive and kind, but keep that in mind. You'll still get whatever you need in sufficient time. It's just not the kind of bustling place where servers are constantly milling about.

I've been eating there for 7 years since we moved to downtown SS. There have been recent staff changes and yes, the pho broth has also changed. The new broth was a bit too sweet for me at first, but on my most recent visit, it was not too sweet. The new broth also has more beefy/fatty taste than the previous version, which I appreciate.

The place by far the worst pho I’ve had so far!!! Purchased a large mix beef noodle soup. Th soup is cold and only has 4 slices of beef and cost almost $16 dollars ??

I came for a mommy daughter date Friday 3/1 and was EXTREMELY DISPLEASED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. 1.I stood at the front for 6 minutes before anyone said one words to me 2.I specifically asked to be seated at a booth (which they were cleaning at the time ) and the hostess then says follow me AND PROCEEDS TO WALK TO THE KITCHEN without even showing us to our table 3.we sat for another few minutes no one said a single word or bought water for the table 4. Once I saw that the booth was available we got up (from the table we just assumed we were supposed to sit )and this is the first time any staff ever addressed us to tell us we could not sit there after a party of 2 came in and sat at the other available booth. I was flabbergasted and felt like they genuinely did not want me to dine at their establishment so we left to take our business elsewhere 10/10 would not recommend

10 out of 10I was so pleased with my first experience at Pho Tan Vinh.We ordered two large pho , Pho Tai Nam & Pho Nam- Noodle soup with medium rare eye round and slow cooked brisket. When we received our pho my first thoughts were - “the broth looks so clear and light” just like I like It :)The medium rare eye round was not chewy and but instead good quality. The brisket was truly slow cooked and tasty. I then ordered broccoli and Napa to add and It just topped It off right.The lady who worked there was sooo friendly and had great restaurant manners. I felt very comfortable and carefreeI think I found my new pho spot ?

Went in for a quick bite. It's a neighborhood spot that I'm glad to see is still there. The decor could use an update, but the food is as good as I remember it to be.

Unsure of what happened to this place, but the quality has changed. Tried them the first time and ranked them as #1 compared to the 3 other pho places I've tried, great food and great customer service. Ordered them from Uber eats the next 2 times and the pho was lacking quality and they didn't provide utensils even though I requested them, went back 2 weeks ago this time is person, customer service still was great, pho was bland very bland and only received 1 packet of pho and brown sauce even though I ordered 2 large orders. Unsure if I will be back.
