Ordered Uber eats, got sent the wrong food that I was unable to eat. I noticed a few other reviews said the same. They need to work on quality checking online orders, because that certainly ruined my night.

The food is bomb! Lots of flavor in every bite. Portions are large. However the prices do not match what is advertised. The staff isn't really welcoming. There is seating but the vibes gave take out. It's not somewhere I'd recommend if you like to experience hospitality while dining.

Don’t do it! When the food truck was on the road it was really good. They got a restaurant and it’s going down hill. My friend and I spent over $100 on cassava leaf and they gave us nothing but sauce, not one piece of meat. The women’s in the front share the food only give the oxtails and nuff meat to their friends. I’ve watched this many times. Do better.

The place has some of the best food in the area, no doubt about it. Some of my favorite at the cassava leafs and the brown stew chicken. It is a Caribbean inspired business so. The snappy attitude at Caribbean restaurants infuses a delightful sass into the dining experience, adding a burst of vibrant flavors. While they may occasionally forget your drink, it only adds to the charm, turning every visit into a memorable adventure.

I was very happy with the oxtail and the cassava leaf. Got 5-6 decent pieces of oxtail and plenty of rice. Would’ve liked a little more cabbage. Oxtail was juicy and the rice was fresh soft and very delicious. Can’t wait to come back. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the plantain wasn’t sweet enough for me lol. 4.3 stars to be exact ?

One of the best food place in downtown Silver Spring. The jerk chicken, Ox tail and Curry chicken are excellent. The service is good and the food taste even better

My family and I visited this place yesterday. I visit a few establishments on this street and finally got the chance to check Sweet Sweet out. I got the oxtail plate with jollof rice, a side of plantain, and ginger beer. The highlight was the rice and oxtail gravy. While the meat was good overall, some pieces were tougher than others but nothing undesirable. I know the prices of everything have gone up but $37 is a bit offputting. I would like to try the stew chicken next time.

I ordered cassava leaf, white rice and cabbage. The taste of the cassava was great. Full of flavor and spice. For $19 I only received 4 pieces of meat which is insane. The cabbage was fresh and cut poorly.

I tried the cassava leaf with jollof. The cassava leaf was a highlight, with a perfect level of spiciness that added a delightful kick to each bite. They could have included a tad more protein to the cassava as I felt it was a bit lacking. However, while the Jollof was good, I felt it had the potential to be even better. Overall, my experience at Sweet Sweet Kitchen was quite enjoyable. The cassava leaf certainly stood out, and the flavors were well-balanced. With a little improvement on the Jollof, this place has the potential to be even better. Not bad at all!
