Things I love about Mansa Kunda:A- Covid safe! A large beautiful patio, and the inside is big, airy, and almost never crowded!B- The service. These guys treat you like family and it’s super kid friendly. Also the decorations are BEAUTIFUL.C- THE FOOD! I will crave their jollof couscous for the rest of my life. The afra chicken — how do they do that?? Crispy and salty with a little char and a liiiiittle spice (my toddler ests it). My husband loves the peanut butter chu. Also there is an insane selection of DELICIOUS house made desserts.Truly love this place!Kid-friendliness: The staff are so sweet and there is lots of room to run around. Plus: the bird phone!

BOMB. My friend and I went here for the first time and had no idea what to expect. We told Hatib and HE TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE OF US! I am vegan and thought I would struggle to find something to eat but there were so many vegan options! We had such a blast. I got the peanut butter tofu

Unassuming corner restaurant with big character, great service, and amazing food! My wife and I stopped in here on a whim today and we were thrilled with everything. The atmosphere and decor were interesting and fun. I loved the drum-shaped chairs. The gentleman serving us was friendly and helpful, especially since we weren’t particularly familiar with West African food. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. The food was simply fantastic. I’m not even going to try to describe it other than to say that everything was flavorful without being overpowering. I ordered the Peanut Butter Chu and my wife got the Jollof Rice.Their website says that they were featured on WETA’s Signature Dish program on West African Food, and I can see why.Needless to say, we’ll be coming back here again and bringing friends and family along with us.

My neice introduced me to this restaurant last year and I enjoyed the entire experience. I’m a home cook but every time I go out to eat I go here because the food is delicious. The cakes are different with so many exotic flavors. My favorite is the Rosemary cake, that’s for the grown folk. Okra stew outstanding. A must stop by and eat and converse cause the atmosphere has positive energy.

Last night was 5th time to dined in this restaurant. The food was terrible. I ordered fried plantains and the plantains weren't even fried well you can still taste the ripped plantains.

I have been a few times and absolutely love it. The food is authentic and delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient. Mansa Kunda has an amazing ambiance. The chairs are drums. How cool is that. A must experience.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences ever. Absolutely loved everything, and there was a lot! All the food here is halal. The ginger and hibiscus juices are best enjoyed when alternating sips..so even if you are on your own, order both! I have forgotten the names of most of the things we ordered, but maybe you can figure it out from the pictures. The lamb was amazing, and i don't even like lamb! The special jollof rice was on point, and the chicken stuff was pretty decent. The carrot (i think) and blueberry cakes were also to die for! Service was also amazing, albeit a little slow.. but that perception might be driven by the fact that we had to rush to some place immediately after...Don't forget to check out the phone booth outside. The birds be calling...Overall a very pleasant and memorable experience - Totally coming back for more!Quick edit: turns out i got distracted by the food when it arrived and ended up totally forgetting about taking pictures... so just ask what's good from the server - they might say everything though..and they might be totally right.
